Another thread has me freaking out :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: . I was wondering how many of you all out there have had experiences with "ghosts" ??:earseek: :earseek: :earseek:

I have never "seen a ghost" - but I do believe my father has contacted me twice thru other people.

What's the other thread? Would like to read but I don't believe in ghosts.

Yes, please do tell us more. My dh and I are kind of ghost hunters. :rolleyes1

We like to go to the battlefield and take pictures. We have gotten a lot of orbs (orbs aren't to some a sign of 'ghosts') However, we have gotten a lot of pictures without them. I have had my camera malfunction in certain areas also.

although if I ever do have an experience I will probably freak out.

I've had a few vague "odd" things happen. I have no doubt that ghosts exist.

I have never seen anything but have had experienced a few 'odd' things
One week after my MIL died, a cast iron doorstop she kept on the kitchen cupboard soffit, 'flew' off it's spot & landed in the middle of the kitchen floor.
There were pottery plates, silk flowers up there & that is the only thing that ever 'fell' down, then or later. I said 'flew' because it landed about 5 feet into the kitchen. It was not placed on the edge of the soffit, either. It was fully about 4" from the edge, seated flatly-

When I was around 4 or 5 I remember being in my grandmothers kitchen and I asked, "Who was that Grandma?" She asked uh, who and I said the guy that was in the hallway? There was no guy and I must remember because I probably completely freaked her out!!!

Years ago in an apartment we lived in, I was sitting in my living room and all of the sudden "something" caught my eye in the foyer. In the corner where the walls and celing meet it seemed darker. More shading on the walls? I do not know how to explain it but there was an "energy" there???? What really freaked me out was at the exact same time I noticed my dog went crazy looking at the same exact spot!!!!!! :earseek: :earseek: :earseek: Anyone know what the heck that was??

On a happy note :flower: I am a  positive person that does not :cloud9: get sucked into this :cheer2: stuff :flower: . ;)

Ghosts or Spirits....yes I believe. Here is my story:

On the day my dear Mother passed away, I was returning to the hospital (where she was in the Hospice wing) after dropping my kids off home from being there all morning holding her hand. I walked into the hospital building & suddenly my Father (who passed away in 1968) & my Mom both joined me & each held me by the arms as I continued to walk to my Mom's room. I remember saying out loud "you left me!" to my Mother. I turned to look at my Dad & I saw his eyes & never realized how light they were (like a grayish color) but then it all came back to me that my Mom used to tell me my Dad's eyes were such a light blue they were almost gray! They never spoke to me, they just looked forward & walked me arm in arm down to the elevator & then we went up to my Mom's room & it was like I was floating & not actually walking. Once I arrived at my Mom's room, (with still both parents on either side of me), my cousin who has stayed there while I left to bring my kids home, opened the door for me. I said to her "Mom's gone, isn't she?" and my cousin said "no! She's still breathing!" I told her that both my parents were on each side of me & without skipping a beat, she just ushered me in quickly & said "then maybe she's going over to the other side now, you'd best get by the bedside!" I did go to my Mom's body & she was still breathing. I held her hand & kissed her & told her that I loved her very much (oh my goodness....I'm almost sobbing right now) & she right at that moment took her last breath & looked at me with tears in her eyes & died. I was so calm because I looked in the corner of the room & there were both my parents standing arm in arm together. I am a very emotional person but I was soooooooo serene & calm, it was a feeling from some other place. Not anything I've ever experienced on earth.

The days that followed were not easy but each time I felt that extreme stomach churning pain that went up to my throat, my Mom would appear & I'd get that same sense of pure sereneness.

So yes indeed I believe in spirits (or ghosts.) They walk among us.

Did I wig out too many people with my post?

no who could be scared of someone seeing their own parents?

When my father died, after 40+ years of marriage to my mom, she said she was lying in bed one night, shortly after we buried him, feeling sorry for herself. In the corner she saw something flying around her hanging basket. She says it was an angel who told her not to worry and things would be ok.
