Ghost Hunters Thread & Personal Ghost Experiences & other Paranormal Talk.

Great story and welcome to the thread.

Do your pets ever react to Bob?

thanks for the welcome! no, my pets don't seem to notice Bob, although sometimes my cat (the hairless one in the pics) seems to be staring at something.

bob must have been watching TV today because when i left the house i was watching the Today Show before turning off the TV but when i got home and turned on the TV it was on ESPN2.:teleport:

I just check http://www.scifi.com/

The show is on from 7 to midnight but the new episode is on at 9pm. They are investigating "the oldest governer's mansion in 13 colonies" and that's all it says.

I was thinking and not to scare you but try not to call it by a name. That is letting it into your house or a means of acceptance. While it could be fine then again it might not be. By naming you are accepting it into your life and there are some things you do not want to do this with. I know I sound like a nut but I have read tons of books on this stuff.

i've actually heard that before. i tried to get the kids to stop calling him/it Bob, but they thought i was crazy. lately i've been ignoring it more. is it ok to talk to my grandfather if i think he's near?

I talk to my dad but it is on my terms meaning I do not look at things that happen and say dad I know you are here because that too can be tricky. I guess what I am saying for example, if the door opens on its own I say, " get out of my house you are not welcome here." I know that if it were my dad he woud understand. I do not welcome these events is what I mean but if I am stressed etc I will talk to my dad. I do not know if I am explaining it correctly. When things happen I tell whomever it is to "get out of my house".

So, anyone with any more stories. I've got 'em, but I want to wait til a slow night. Plus, my head's kinda fuzzy tonight, I'm so tired.

Anyone...popcorn::

Here's some snacks for everyone during the show...

I picked healthy ones :goodvibes

don't forget to post your ghost rating. Since I do not get to watch it till tomorrow I find it helpful. I did not waste a lot of time on last weeks because I was prewarned by the ghost rating system:eek:

One Ghost = boring

Five Ghosts= scary for the moment but you can still sleep

Ten Ghosts=I will never sleep again or at least for the next week!

Oooo, I loved the mill. I'd give it a 6 ghosts. The mill was so beautiful too. Can someone explain the water and the limestone thing. Jay and Grant mentioned there's alot of activity that centers around the 2. :confused3

I got one that happened to my mother in law the other day. I was telling her about my son's recording and she told me what had happened to her.
She lives in Rye NH which is an upscale sea coast town. She is always looking at houses in the area. She went to look at a house that was really set back in the middle of no where at end of a dirt road. Just as she is looking in the window a woman and little child appear around the corner of the house. She says can I help you and my mother in law says oh no we were just looking. She said they came from NO WHERE because the house was locked and uninhabited and there was marsh behind it. She was starlted because when she left she looked around and they were gone. She mentioned it to a friend who told her that the woman who lived in the house had killed her child and then killed herself. The strange thing is another of my MIL's friends had the same experience.

By the way my mother in law is one of the most conservative down to earth people I know.

I did not see it but the limestone is some sort of a conductor according to them. I cannot wait to watch it. I think there are only a few more episodes and then it is back to GH International. YUCK! I HOPE it is better than it was last time.

Although I did find the first half of the show to be interesting - I too would give it 6 ghosts - I found your story above to be a good 8 ghosts.:scared:
