Hey y'all
I haven't read through all the posts yet but I thought this would be the perfect place to share my excitement about my upcoming trip. (My DH is a complete skeptic and good naturedly pokes fun at my excitement).
I am going next weekend to The Spalding Inn in NH. It is the Inn that Jay & Grant bought. It was featured last week in a cross-over episode with GHI. I am going with a group of women that have all had experiences in their past. We hope that being sensitive to the activity will make it more active for us.
Going to go back now and read some of your posts! Happy hunting....
Did anyone watch Ghost Adventures this weekend? I know that the guys are goofy and all but this is the only episode that I found genuinely creepy. Something about those hallways..
I also remember someone said that Zak's hair wasn't working. I agree! He looks silly.
Yes, it was the mission.I did but I cannot remember which one it was. The Castillo was last week. OH
wait was it the mission? The one where the bed was messed up and they supposedly got EVP"S?
Yes, it was the mission.
I'm not sure if I trust these guys with the messed up bed and such things but it was interesting that Richard Senate was on the show. He has certainly been involved in these things for a long time. I just felt really creeped out when they showed the dark hallways and the outside areas. I need to look up this mission.
Food for thought..............
All I know is.........this week my diamond ring showed up in my Kitchen??? I could swear it was upstairs.....atleast it was not lost
Then we "lost" a wedge of Loccatelli Cheese (for an Italian this is a NIGHTMARE)
Then we "lost" a pineapple......
We are Joking as to what the heck is going on in our home...too funny.....but seriously...the food thing is driving me nuts....twice in one week I could not find something I purposely went out and bought, checked receipt, came home and went to use it later and GONE.....WTH??? I called the store for the cheese, they said not there but did give me credit towards new piece, today the Pineapple for our Lapu Lapu drink...GONE, It was part of a Fathers Day gift (with that Margaritaville Concoction Mixer, AMAZING..) and he HAD to have a pineapple, we had to go buy another..........![]()
By the way, that drink is YUMMY!!!

Just back from The Spalding Inn. Went with 2 female co-workers and 3 female friends. Had lots of fun and great experiences. I haven't gone through all of the video yet and another co-worker has the digital pics to go through. We did listen to the audio. It was a brand new tape recorder and tapes (not voice activated). I watched it being opened and the batteries being inserted. We (4 of us) held an EVP session in out room. We sat in a square with the recorder in the middle and took turns asking questions. After we rewound the tape and listened. Only 1 voice was recorded asking questions. The rest of us were not recorded and there were no extraordinarily long pauses in between the 1 girls questions. The last question was Is there anything you want to tell us? there was a male voice (sounded like it was right next to the recorder) that said "I'm warning you!"![]()
Anyway, had lots of personal experiences also. Going to catch up on some sleep then I'll go through the video. If there is anything good I'll try to post it.
Wow! Thanks for updating us. BTW do you mind telling me how much per night they charge and where exactly it is in NH? What is around it? Do they have a website? MY BIL is very interested and so am I. I would love to go. I am going to google it but if you have any info I would appreciate it.
Sure. It is in Whitefield NH. on Mountain View Rd and it was $150 per night. Up to 3 to a room and they will bring a cot into the room for the 3rd person. My dinner, drinks and dessert cost about $50 but we spent about 4 hours in the bar playing pool and eating so it was reasonable, I think. They offer a free breakfast.
Ok, Website.... http://www.thespaldinginn.com/ there are 2 buildings, the main building and the carriage house. We stayed in the main bldg Rm 32. Friends stayed in 34, no activity in their room. If you have OnDemand I think the TAPS episode about the Inn is still on there. The grounds are beautiful. We walked around a lot. We were only there 1 night, didn't do a lot. There is a ski area down the road and horseback riding. Also skimobile trails and hiking trails. I bet it is beautiful in the fall. Santa's Village and 6 Gun City are near there also. Fun for younger kids. We are already planning our next visit back.
That's me in the Gun powder/dungeon/bones room in the St. Auggie fort where Zack from Ghost Adventures did his "chains" taunt in the episode, exactly where I sit.what is this a picture of?![]()
