Went to GG last night for the first time in a year or 2. We haven't been there since they changed the menu 2x ago
It is still served "family style" which is all you can eat but the server brings the food to your table instead of a buffet style.
I will have to say it was much better than expected. It was just me and dd (she's 7) last night. Our server April was great.
April brought a small plate of salad (plenty for just me). I tried to eat only half of it to leave room for the main stuff She also brought out some multi grain bread which was also good. Then she brought out mac n cheese and chicken fingers and fries for dd & she was very happy.
My 1 plate was more than enough (I could have gotten more but I really would have been mad at myself!!
) Anyway, there was flank steak which was delicious, turkey with cranberries, yummy 
and catfish which was good. The green beans were excellent as was the mashed potatoe au gratin (i think that's what that was), BUT everything was great! And then the dessert, little tastes of marble cheesecake, lemon tarte, pecan pie and another chocolate thing--all just delicious!!
So, would I return, YOU BET!!! Now that I know GG is as good as it was before I will BE BACK
Today we had lunch at CP and it was just as yummy as the last time. They had the usuals, but great usuals. Fresh salads, fresh breads, tastey salmon, the flank steak was tender. The pork was a bit tough but there was so much other stuff to eat...and the desserts, they should be ashamed of themselves for making such amazing desserts
Besides the little yummies, marble cheesecake, pecan squares, brownies, cookies and so many other treats, the banana bread pudding is just amazing and I'm not big on stuff like that. I'm a chocaholic, but the bread pudding, umm, umm good!!
