GFVs, Question about getting to Parks

Hi.

I will be at GFVs in a dedicated 2 bedroom for 8 nights in September

I have a few qustions about getting to the parks and ask if you can please let me know the answers:

MK: I can get to MK by monorail and/or boat. Is this correct?
Do I need to switch at the Transportation Center (can't remember the name) if I get on the monorail at GF and want to get off at MK?

HS: Can I get here by boat? If not, I guess the bus is my only option. Correct?

Epcot: I can get here by monorail and bus. Is that correct?
Do I need to switch monorails at the Transportation Center from GF to Epcot?

Assuming the monorail is running normal hours:

MK - monorail next stop is MK. No need to go to TTC

DHS, AK - bus only. No boat route.

Epcot - monorail to TTC, switch to Epcot monorail. No bus under normal hours.

If the monorail has limited hours, busses will run in its place.

nope. GF is the last stop for the resort monorail before hitting MK.

if you take the resort monorail back to GF, you will stop first at all the other monorail resorts and TTC before you get to the GF.

There isn't a schedule per se, it runs continuously from an hour before MK open until an hour after close.

You stay on the same resort monorail to get back to GF from MK. The only time you ever switch is going to or returning from Epcot.

Hi, sorry to hijack, but I was curious if you could walk to the Poly from GFV? Thinking of breakfast at Kona and don't want to ride to whole monorail loop. Thanks!!

Yes, in fact the walk to the Poly is just slightly longer than the walk to the boat at the GF from the villas.

hopefully by your check-in the monorail upgrade is finished. if not the schedule for monorails will be: resorts monorail 8:30 am-midnight, express monorail 9:30 am-11:30 pm, epcot monorail 9:00 am- 11:30 pm. as you can tell from this schedule emh is not doable on the monorail at this time in the morning. they are running more buses and supposedly more boats, i can attest to the buses, not sure about the boats. yesterday was no problem with the bus, we were there before the magic kingdom denizens appeared on the train platform.

this morning was a different story, headed down to the monorail about 20 minutes to 9 to go to epcot. had a fp for soarin' at 9:50 so we weren't in a big hurry, but as i reported on the disney resorts threads monorails weren't ready and running right on the posted schedule, so at ttc we had to transfer to a bus, which disney was not prepared for and it took a little bit to get buses routed over to handle the crowd. so right now monorail is a little sketchy if you have a deadline to meet.
