GFR Less Than Contemporary?

I was pricing both (park view) and was surprised that GFR was over $500 less (2 night). Is that nomal? I always thought GFR was THE most expensive.

I have not confirmed my reservation....wanted to ask first!

I found the same thing for our upcoming stay. I went CR and Gf split stay. I wondered the same thing when I booked it.

The garden view at GF is showing as cheaper than the Tower view at CR. Also varies depending on the dates of travel.

Maybe because the Theme Park view at CR is better/closer than the theme park view at GF??

Im guessing when it comes to GV, the GF would be more.

That is what I would guess because the Magic Kingdom view at the Contemporary shows all of it, where as the Magic Kingdom view at the Grand Floridian does not show all of it.

Are you comparing a Tower Theme Park View at the CR with a Theme Park View at the GF?

If you mean comparing the CR Magic Kingdom view to the Grand Floridian Magic Kingdom view, then it that case the Contemporary one would be worth more. Like I said before the Contemporary Magic Kingdom view is a full view and the Grand Floridian Magic Kingdom view is not a full view and parts of it might be obstructed. This is a picture of a Magic Kingdom view room when my family and I stayed there in August 2006 that was taken from room #4840 which is on the 12th floor, so you can see what that view would look like.
