Thanks, pretty soon it will look like it was always there.

And congrats on that big catch, wow.

Someone on another discussion, maybe resorts, was saying it was so ugly, and why didn't they at least make it look like the rest of the buildings.:confused3

I was, seriously, they are not finished. :sad2:

Yea I think it will always looked "sandwiched in there" but mostly to seasoned WDW visitors. The rest won't know the difference-as I have a feeling it will look very nice when complete.

I noticed that the steel spire superstructures are sitting on the ground ready to be lifted in place

Good eye-those will really help on top. They are about 5 stories tall? Seems kinda big.

They actually sit down through the roof to the "floor" of the roof area so only about 1/2 is above the roof level.

That makes sense, still nice size though.

Not impressed at all. Doesn't look like they maintained the victorian architecture. I also don't like that they don't have the traditional red roof that the GF has. The gray roof doesn't stand out at all.

To each his own. I'm sure others will love it.

Will have to see-I think thats just underlayment on the roof. The drawing shows red anyway.

Settle down. It's an underlayment. That grey is NOT the final roof.

Seriously, :confused3 are you not aware it is no where near finished. :sad2:

Wow. Sorry I have an opinion.

Back to you're regularly scheduled program where people are only allowed to compliment the building.

Thanks for the photos. No Disney trip for us until 2015. :crazy2: I'd love to stay a few nights there, just to see how it is. Just have to talk the males in the family into it.

Absolutely, it's the underlayment. They will end up with red architectural shingle. No way they could charge 165 a point for plain grey roofs.

I just can't figure out if the top windows in the roof are part of some rooms with vaulted ceilings or just decoration.

Anyone construction people out there have a guess?

I will be there in a month and hope to take more pics if DW allows me to dawdle.

I keep hoping they will put red standing seam roof on it, the shingles are the one thing on GF that look tackey

From what I can tell so far it does not look like any rooms in the roof area, I was sort of hoping for an observation area at least.
