Is there a walking path between the two ? and how long ?
just looking to see my alternatives if the monorail is down the day i go

No, path from GF to Poly only. Take the boat "friendship?" to MK and then jut walk to CR

No there is not. Only from GF to Poly.

You can always use boat to MK and walk from MK. Boat goes from GF to Poly to MK.

The OP was asking for alternatives in the event the monorail is down.
OP- when the monorail is down, they typically run buses between the monorail resorts and MK. But sometimes those buses stop at multiple monorail resorts, so that may also be an option.
