GF theme pool slide height minimum?

Is there a height requirement for the slide at the GF theme pool? DD is 40" - 42" (4 yo) and is wondering if she'll be able to try the slide or not.

While there is no height requirement for any of the WDW resort slides, there is a swim requirement for the slide at SAB. Children at SAB must be able to swim themselves unaided (without flotation devices) to the exit of the slide. A parent can't wait at the bottom, and the bottom has a rather strong current and is 4 1/2 ft deep. That is the only slide at a WDW hotel that has any type of rules.

Don't know if this wll help you...we stayed at the Polynesian and their slide looked longer than GF's slide...my children were 4,5 & 8 when we went and they all went down...my 4 and 5 year old wore swim vests provided by the life guards when they went down the slide. When we visited the GF, I saw very young children going down...hope this helps!
