GF surprise

Every trip, I let my teenager choose our resort. Usually it's the S/D or CSR. Each time we're on the monorail, she'll say, "I wish that I had said the GF." So for our November trip, our last 3 nights will be at the Grand Floridian in a lagoon view room. I told her she and her guests will have to pack on the 24th because we're moving for a surprise stay. She said, " I know the Royal Pacific."
I plan to tell she and her friends that we have an ADR at 1900 Park Fare. Then getting the room keys and saying, "Surprise!" This way she'll get her favorite resort and her I wish resort.

My husband and I stayed there for an anniversary trip once and it was beautiful. I've always been surprised that she never chooses it.

We are surprising our DS13 with his dream stay at the Poly next year for his 8th grade graduation trip. So I know how you feel. Very excited as well.

I'm relieved that she thinks it's RPR because I can keep a straight face! If she thought it was a WDW resort and guessed the GF, I'd start laughing and give it away.
