GF std or Poly GV Concierge?

Hello - I was considering a trip in January 2004 (just waiting for those elusive AP rates) and can't seem to make up my mind where I want to stay. Its for myself and DD8, DD8. We stayed at the GF last Christmas and loved it (who wouldn't, especially at Christmas). The girls really loved the pretty rooms, turndown service and LOVED the robes. We haven't stayed at the Poly since they were 3 (not concierge) so they don't remember it much but they love Lilo and Stitch and the whole Hawaii theme. I have never done concierge and don't know if it is worth it. I figured GF std and Poly GV concierge are approximately the same cost ($35 difference in Dec.) but I just can't decide. Then I think why not try something completely different and go the BC (never stayed there). I'm so wishy-washy! HELP!!!!

Hi! I think the Poly GV concierge is probably your best bet, especially if your other option is the GF GV room. Concierge will make it more special, and I've heard great things about the Poly concierge. Last time we were at the GF, we decided that we wouldn't stay there in a standard room again - they are just too expensive for what you get, especially considering that you can get concierge rooms or lagoon view rooms at other MK monorail resorts, for the same price as a GV room at the GF. The GF concierge is a whole different story - we thought that was well worth the $$, so from now on, when we stay at the GF, it will always be RPC.

Another vote for Polynesian concierge. It's great. We've only stayed in Sugar Loaf concierge at the GF but I would certainly do Ploynesian concierge over a regular GF gardenview room.

Poly concierge.
We stayed at the GF 4 times, and loved it. Then we tried Polynesian, lagoon view , and then lagoon view concierge twice. we love the Polynesian, the atmosphere and theming is a tropical paradise!
and, if you are staying concierge, you will get turndown service, and you'll have robes in the room.
the concierge is great, very convenient, especially for breakfast.

Go for the Polynesian. The concierge service is great. The kids will think they're IN "Lilo & Stitch"

I agree with everyone else--I'd grab the Polynesian concierge over GF anyday!
