GF refurb vs Contemporary

We have reservations at the Contemporary but thinking about switching to The Grand Floridian. Trip is in December 2024. The website says it might be going through some refurbishments. A quick search showed me that its been under construction for some time. Anyone have any insight to the progress? Should Christmas decorations be up as usual in December?

No way will they do the lobby refurb over Xmas. I’d book GF for Dec without hesitation as I think they’ve pretty much refurbed everything else there?

That's my hope! It sounds like they still need to do some things to the lobby but I would think before or after Christmas?
