GF questions

Okay I have switched my reservation to the GF to surprise my mom (I'm not telling her til we get there) and now my sisters want to go too which is fine since they are paying their own way. So now there are going to be 5 of us in the room (Mom, myself, 2 sisters and my 7 year old daughter). We all get along great so sharing a room isn't a problem--we did it one May at the AKL.
My questions are--since now it has gone from 3 people to 5 people--will we automatically get a room with 2 queens and a daybed or do I have to request this?? Also now that my sisters are going, we had to ask for a smoking room--are smoking rooms any different than non-smoking rooms. I would like to be in the Big Pine Key area since it is close to the pool and my daughter adores going to the pool--should I request this building??

As long as you've let CRO know that you have 5 people then you shouldn't worry.

I believe Big Pine Key has some smoking floors, check the GF FAQ to make sure.

We stayed in Big Pine Key a couple of years ago, and I really enjoyed it. It's a great building close to everything. Enjoy your stay!

Floors 1, 2, & 3 are non-smoking in Big Pine. We stayed in 2 and 3 last week.
