Gf Question

Does the GF offer something each morning for the children? I noticed on the TC special that they were releasing Lady Bugs. Do they plan different activites each day at 10:00 am?

Adisneynut, I have stayed at the GF a few times. They have some excellent children’s programs that are offered at certain times and days during the week. Some of those programs require a reservation to be made in advance, as they are programs that cost money. They also have other programs that are free to their guests. These programs range from pool games to arts & crafts activities. When you check into the GF, they will give you their resort newsletter. In this newsletter you will find out the dates & times of the free and paying children’s activities. By the way, in all my GF stays, I have never heard of the ladybug release (I have only heard of that at the Poly and the WL). That one was a new one to me and many other people here on the Dis, judging from the comments about that TV show.

I have the GF newsletter from February. The RPC CMs gave it to us for trip planning. In addition to the activities mentioned above that cost money (Wonderland Tea Party, Disney's Pirate Adventure, and Grand Kid Adventures in Cooking), there is Adventure Time by the pool Monday through Friday at 3:30 pm. Painting, coloring, sponging, puppet making, pool & deck games, etc. take place there. The letter says that activities change at each session. Also, there is story time on Monday evenings at 8pm and crafts on Wednesday evenings for 4-7 year olds. Both of those activities are held at the M. Mouse Mercantile. Also, there is the character caravan, which I think is Sunday, Tueday and Thursday. Happy Planning!
