GF or Dolphin spa treatments

Has anyone done the spa treatments at either of these resorts. I have a "girls-only" trip first week in May with some Girlfriends. No husbands and no kids. I thought we do some thing special. How are the spas

I have been to the GF and the SSR spas twice each (they are both owned by the same company) but not the Mandara spa.

I think the GF spa is just okay. The SSR spa is a little nicer but neither of these spas are over the top amazing. They do not have any kind of wow factor in the atmosphere but the treatments have been decent. I have heard that the Mandara has more of the feel of a destination spa to it. The GF and SSR spas had a regular day spa feel to them.

Mandera is amazing! If you are going for a treatment it is totally worth doing. Look for a discount coupon on the receipt from Pekabu (15%). If you are just going to get a manicure then it's nice but not a must do.

My wife just did the Mandera this weekend and loved it.
She had a deep tissue massage and got a free 15 minute hot stone massage as a bonus.
She stated they were quite accomodating.
She has not done the GF spa.

I have always enjoyed the spa at GF a LOT. It's great especially if you are staying at the Poly of GF and can just walk over. If not and if you have a car or take a cab, you can park/get dropped off right outside the spa. Tell the driver you're going to the GF Wedding Pavillion - it shares the parking lot.
There are some really good massage therapists there as well as aestheticians. The spa has had some upgrades withing the past couple of years. It is very expensive, yes, but it is nice and if you see to it that you are not rushed, you will have a wonderful time!

I've had a massage at GF, and it's nice but not really anything out of the ordinary. Dolphin looks amazing-- I'd like to try it. Is it an Aveda spa? It sounds similar.
