GF Lodge Tower vs. Lagoon View

Are there any advantages to a GF Lodge Tower room over a lagoon view?
My Dds want Lodge Tower, but I want a balcony and view. Is the extra seating area really useful and worthwhile? Are any Lodge Tower rooms with balconies? If so, what are the odds of getting one? We're going in June 2006 if that matters. Thanks so very much for the help.

The only lodge tower rooms that have balconies that I am aware of are in the Sugar Loaf Concierge building.

Personally I would much rather have a balcony with lagoon view. The lodge rooms do not have great views, not bad views but many of the garden views and certainly lagoon views are much better.

I prefer to have the daybed over the small sitting area.

Tower room - some extra room (not sectioned off for privacy) with a couch, an extra tv, no daybed (tower rooms sleep only 4). I think most of the tower rooms do have balconies - I think maybe one of the floors don't have a balcony. But the tower room balcony has a taller balcony wall that bother people that want to sit out on the balcony for a view because you can't see out over the high wall.

With the tower and lagoon view being about the same price, I'd probably go for a lagoon view (have stayed tower before). You're not guaranteed a MK view, but there is a 50/50 chance of one (I don't know if those are the exact odds).

Realizing of course that this is a REQUEST - I would get the lagoon view and ask for Boca Chica rooms 8245, 8345 or 8445...if I am not mistaken (and someone correct me please if I'm wrong) these rooms are corner rooms which give you more space and a LOVELY view of the MK, WL, monorail, etc...GREAT ROOMS!
