GF dessert inquiry (search disabled?)

All,
I'm trying to find info about the $25 castle cakes, maybe even a picture. I was going to get my wife one of the Chocolate Mickey's, but I read in another thread that the Mickey is not really for eating. We will be there for her birthday in October and I want to get something special. I have seen the Slipper Dessert and it looks great, but I am interested in anything they have to offer, and heard about the castle cake in another thread.

Make sure you order them early enough. I will be there in sept also and have been trying to order them. I keep switched around on the phone and told that there is no bakery extention and then getting transfered all around etc. SO I finally left a message like 4 days ago and have not recieved a phone call bake or gotten an answer when calling the gf. I have plenty of time so I am not worried but had I waited a week before I might not be getting these special surprises!!!

Our Disney Trip Planner from DreamsUnlimited gave us a number,
but I wasn't sure if we are supposed to call just the 48 hours in advance,
or if we could call this early, so I hadn't tried it yet,
but here is the number she gave us:407-824-2473.

This is not the number I have been trying. DIsney dining gave me 824-3000 I believe and that is just the number to the GF itself. Once I call I have to be transfered to.........not sure as they have no idea what I am talking about up front I will keep trying and now I will try that number too. I will post back and let you know if that number works better/faster. Thankyou!!

Individual Cakes

You need to call the Grand Floridian Bakery, you call the GF directly and ask to be connected to the bakery. I believe the GF number is the 407-824-3000 number listed above. The cakes were yummy and a very special treat
