Thanks alot. I just booked DD at the Wonderland tea party so thought I could grab lunch while I waited for her. Is it easy to find? Is it near 1900 Park Fare? I've only been to GF once and it was dark and we just went straight to 2900 Park Fare and then left.
We had a nice relaxing lunch there sitting outside looking at the lake while our DD was at the tea party. You have to go outside over towards the side docks to get to the entrance.
Another thumbs up for Gasparilla's to be honest last trip when we stayed at GF we thought it was better than the GF cafe and 1900PF which we really didn't rate.
The sandwiches are very good and the potato salad that came with them. As previously posted go to the back of GF past the gift shop and GF CAfe and there is an entrance/exit next to the GF cafe. Turn left here and you will find the entrance to GAsparilla's. If the weather is good take an outside seat and watch Cinderella's castle and theboats while you eat. The only negative is that inside are the arcade machines and lots of birds near the inside seating area. Alternatively sit by the main central pool and enjoy a drink from the bar area.
So you go outside from where 1900 is and then go back toward the boat dock to find it? We will most likely be coming from the boat dock to get there, so we should pass it on the way to the tea party, right?

If you are taking the boat over from MK you get dropped off at the dock by Narcosees. These aren't the same docks, they are further over so you come out and go in the opposite direction along the outside of the hotel. You will walk by the windows for the GF cafe.
We're looking for a quick counter service restaurant at the GF also, but are concerned that Gasparilla's was in the middle of an arcade, and would be entirely too noisey. Are there places to sit there that are quiet if the weather is bad?

There are very few games there that would consider it to be a real arcade like they have at the Contemporary or Polynesian, so it's not that bad at all.
