GF coffeemaker question

can you request a coffeemaker in your room at the GF?

From everything I've heard, there are no coffeemakers at GF, even on request......It's always seemed strange to me.....Does anyone know why, other than they're wanting you to order room service.......

It is hard to believe with the price of a room, that a coffeemaker isn't included - it seems to be other disney resorts. I too wonder why???????

You can request a coffee maker be put in your room when you make your reservation. When you check in, you can double to check to make sure. They will put one in your room, no problem!

I requested a coffeemaker twice during my 10 day stay and was told both times that no they would not bring a coffeemaker and that I should order room service if I want coffee.

I found this to be very poor in view of how Disney itself promotes the hotel as it's "Flagship Resort"

They do offer coffee makers now. Once you get into the room just call housekeeping to bring one.

I know I have gotten them from other resorts HK. I hope they have one for us in Oct. I REALLY REALLY need by coffe in the
morning.

I have stayed at the GF many times but I do not drink coffee, however, I found this topic very interesting. I went to the official WDW website in regards to the GF and I found the following:

GF Guest Rooms:

These rooms feature two queen-size beds, one day bed, table and chairs, ceiling fan, vanity area with two sinks, and bath. Most Guest Rooms offer private balcony. Many Guest Rooms feature garden or water views. Non-smoking rooms and rooms for Guests with disabilities are available.

Guest Room amenities include in-room safe, voice mail, phone in bath area, robes, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, and minibar. A limited number of refrigerators and microwaves are available on request.

There is no mention of a coffeemaker for the GF and yet there is mention of one being available either upon check-in or upon request at most of the other WDW resorts (AKL, WL, CBR, CSR, PO-FQ, PO-RS, BCV, BWV, VWL, OKW, Dolphin, Swan). How odd, especially for Disney's "flagship" resort. Hopefully, for those of you who drink coffee, the GF has added "coffeemakers" to their stash of items that guests may request. From what a few folks have posted here, it seems to be hit or miss as to whether or not you'll get one.
