GF Cafe opinions?

DH and I are eating at the GF cafe at least twice during our stay at the GF. One morning so we can get to the EMH at Epcot, the next morning so we can get to AK early. What are your thoughts on the food and service there?

I can't speak for breakfast, but DH and I ate dinner there unexpectedly during our trip, and it was great. The atmosphere is really nice. It is very pretty and bright, and not loud at all. Service was great, and the food was excellent. Based on our dinner experience, I would have no hesitations going for breakfast either.

Our food has always been good there. Although we have not eaten there that many times.
That being said, they really honked me off last time and I have not returned. And it was the final straw that made me decide not to renew the DDE (now TiW) membership.
It was breakfast, and the server and manager were insistent the only beverages allowed a DDE discount were alcoholic. Now I could see if they thought the opposite -- alcoholic drinks did not get a discount.
But my foo foo juice and DH's coffee were not allowed the DDE discount.
So that was the end of that of us for GFC and DDE.
Can't say I would refuse to return. But not in a rush to return.
I will say the eggs benedict that day (and the non-discounted juice ) were delicious.

We did both breakfast & dinner there over Thanksgiving.

Both were very good meals.

They have lobster benedict for breakfast, along with an awesome steak & eggs.

We liked so much we went back for dinner a night.

The husband and I both had the NY strip.

The kids meals were a step above the rest as well.

GF Cafe' was the last place that I ate before I got sick. (Oct. 08) I caught a 24 hr virus right after dinner. I initially thought it was my dinner, but later realized that the virus was going around. Nevertheless, my dinner was the burger w/lobster on it. It sounds great until the burger was served raw in the middle. We won't be going back anytime soon, too many bad memories.

By far, it was our favorite meal of this trip (we had dinner) and we ate at the likes of LeCellier (which was AWFUL, great last year) and Tutto Italia (we did like this place, just not as much as GFC). Service wasn't outstanding but good. Can't comment on breakfast though!
