Can I go to geyser point from the magic kingdom without a dining reservation and not staying on property?

confirming what previous poster said, and wanted to add that you can now mobile order here too. If you are mobile ordering they just ask that you do not sit at the tables "inside" the restaurant since that those are waited on by servers, but there are other outdoor tables available right next the restaurant to eat your togo stuff. Enjoy!

Slightly misleading that Disney refers to them as QS.

They don't take reservations but a server brings you your drinks & meal just like a TS.
When I was there, albeit, when it first opened, it was more like a quick service with a runner who would refill your drinks. I guess "a TS where you order at a counter" and "a QS where they bring out your order" are kind of the same thing. I don't remember the server bringing me a bill or charging my card; I can't remember how I tipped.

We last ate at Geyser Point in March. No reservations accepted but we timed it right and were able to get a table right away.

We had a server, like any Disney TS restaurant. Brought us our drinks, meals, and check. Paid that through the server and left a tip, like any TS restaurant.

We were there last week. It was a nice boat ride over from MK. Just like the pp we couldn't reserve but we were seated and had a server who took our orders, brought us drinks and meals and checks--I'd consider it TS without reservations.

Doesn't it still have BOTH the "QS" walk-up counter and Beverage Station AND the option for "Full Service Dining" at the indoor and waterfront tables?

We went mid afternoon and had no problem getting a table.
No idea how that would work closer to evening.
Loved it! Plan to go back in a future trip.

The QS window was closed in March but someone reported that it reopened recently.

Yes, you check in with a host/hostess and they will seat you for table service.. Or if you mobile order (or order at the counter) the pickup window is open to pickup to-go orders. The refillable beverage station is open too...our room is a short walk away from Geyser Point on the ground floor and I ran out of coffee creamer in my room (I have just been using the coffee pot), so I walked over and grabbed some creamer.

We REALLY want to try Geyser Point for lunch or dinner late July/Early Aug this year. I would like to sit down and eat, either inside or outside in the shade. How long has it typically taken folks to get seated inside for lunch and dinner. We typically eat lunch around 11:30 and dinner in the 5pm -5:30 range.

If we mobile ordered are there typically tables outside with shade readily available?

Thanks.

Dan

So you cannot mobile order and eat at the tables inside? Do we just wait in line to eat inside or how does that work? I’m not sure since the do not take reservations.

We were there recently and I believe the mobile orders picked up at the service window and then they could sit at the tables along the walkway. We checked in thru the Walk-up list on the app and were seated by a hostess. I would say it is more like a hotel lounge where you are seated and served as table service. Also, to clarify- this is an open air establishment (Covered but no AC). It is beautiful and on the water, and covered by a beautiful wooden structure with a bar in the middle. Hope this helps.

Correct. We did both- mobile ordered food and also sat at the tables "inside" the restaurant that are waited on by servers. If you want to sit down at a table you just walk up to the hostess stand and ask to be seated. If there is a wait they will take your number and text you when ready. If you place a mobile order, you pick it up at the service window. There are plenty of tables to eat along the water right outside Geyser Point and outside the pool if you mobile order.

Does anyone know if they are super busy before the electric water parade?

Keep in mind the 'inside' seating is not that big & not all have lake views. All the seats facing the resort set all the noise from the nearby pool.
