Geyser Point or Room Service?

Staying one night in a Copper Creek villa (2bdrm) pre-cruise and debating about what to do for dinner. We enjoyed Roaring Forks when we ate there years ago, but it seems like it has changed into more of just snacks? Sounds like Geyser Point is getting great reviews, but I'm thinking the kids (teens) might enjoy getting room service instead. Are there items on the room service menu that are from Artist Point? Anything worth splurging on? Trying to keep the budget and stuffing ourselves in check since we'll be going on the Dream the next day!

omg I am doing the same, one night in a 2 bedroom before the dream. We are going to artist point though, lol

Here is a menu from in room dining from a year ago

but as you can see, it looks like the items are from WCC, not AP. Most in room dining menus are served based on the lower tier restaurant menu, not the signature.

That said, if you want lighter AP food there is always the territory lounge.

I read just recently here that they also have the mushroom soup by request.

Geyser Point has a limited menu, IMHO, but it's fun to go down and play ping pong, watch the fireworks, etc. Territory Lounge is a good suggestion. Have you considered WCC? It so fun! The room service food is good, too.

Thanks! Hmm, good to know about the room service. I do remember hearing something about AP food at the Territory Lounge. I assume kids can hang out in there as well? We might just munch our way through a couple of places.

Yes, we've eaten at WCC and enjoyed it. Just trying to watch the budget. I know my kids would want the skillet and while they're both decent eaters, they just won't need that much food pre-cruise!

lol, no one needs that much food EVER. it's vacation ;) but I get watching the budget! my parents are coming so when the grandparents are treating to dinner, Artist Point it is!

I'm curious as to how Geyer Point is set up. It looks from pictures to be all open. Is it air conditioned? I think if it was warm out, I'd choose another option.

Good question. We'll be there in Dec, so heat isn't likely to be an issue, but cold might be.
