Geyser Point - can you park at WL?

Just wondering if you can drive and park at WL if you want to go to Geyser Point or whether you need to take Disney transportation from parks to get there (given Geyser Point doesn’t take resos). Thx

I do believe they are still turning people away from parking without an ADR to discourage people from parking at WL for the day and jumping to MK and trying to avoid the TTC fee.

I've read varying reports, and it seems to depend on time of year (e.g., during the holidays when it's very busy, you're more likely to be turned away), time of day (e.g., near park opening or getting close to fireworks), and even the guard. Personally, I hate wondering about something like that, so I'd probably park at TTC, travel to MK or CR, and take the boat, or take the bus from one of the other parks.

Can confirm that a lot of time, it's really up to the guard. We got engaged and our friend in Orlando wanted to come celebrate and see us as they weren't able to be with us the evening before when I got engaged. We had already checked out, but confirmed with the front desk that my friend was still technically a guest on the reservation and would be allowed through the guard gate. Guess who wasn't allowed through the guard gate? The front manager couldn't even get the guard to agree to let her park or even enter to pick me up. It was a mess. :crazy2:

Maybe we've been pretty fortunate or maybe it's because we tend to travel during less busier times of the years but in all my years we've never been turned away from parking at a resort. That includes multiple trips to The Wilderness Lodge.

In the past I have been given permission to park at both WL and BW without dining reservations. Also given permission to leave my car at BC for the day after having a breakfast reservation. Each time I was totally honest about my plans and asked if I should park somewhere else and CMs were super friendly and accommodating.

If they had turned me away I would have understood. I assume there must be some discretion based on how busy they are etc. On the occasions I mentioned there were plenty of open spaces.
