Geyser Point breakfast and logistics!

We have a free morning on out trip next week. We have never been to see Wilderness Lodge. We are considering cabbing from BCV to wilderness, having breakfast at Geyser Point and exploring the resort before heading to AK by bus for the afternoon. Has anyone done this? How far is Geyser Point from the main lodge? Is this a feasible idea, (worth it?) or should we just relax at BCV for the morning?

Its a long way to go for breakfast, but can certainly be done. Taxi is definitely the best way to get to WL from BCV. Geyser Point is a very short walk from the building.

If the weather is sunny and warm, and you have the time ... taking a boat front WL to MK (and then take the MK bus to AK) would be a pleasant diversion.
