Gettysburg scrapbook store

Is this a nice shop? We will be in Gettysburg next month and I was going to see if I could slip away to this store if it was worth it. I'm sure my son and husband have no interest in going or waiting outside for me especially if it's a good one because I tend to wander around aimlessly. THANKS

What store? The one that we went to in Gettysburg last year, Forevermore Scapbooks, was quite nice. We found lots of interesting little things and didn't even look at everything. They even had a small Disney section. Lots of stuff for Washington, DC as well.

I would say go for it! Plus if they get bored they can walk to one of the other stores.

While you're in Gettysburg are you planning to do any of the ghost tours? We did one of the Ghosts of Gettysburg tours last year and it was super fun. They were voted the top tour in America again.

Also if you like teddy bears, be sure to go to the Boyds Bear Country. AWESOME store!!! Its HUGE!!! Lots of cute and lovable little bears that will all want to come home with you.

Have fun! I love Gettysburg. We were going to go in September, but decided to postpone that until next year so we can work in a trip to WDW in January.

Yes, we are doing that ghost tour the first night we are there. This past weekend the Travel Channel had several hauted shows about Gettysburg on. I even have the haunted Gettysburg book by Mark Nesbitt who was on the show.

Have fun! Which tour are you doing? We did the Seminary Ridge one since our hotel was right across the street so it was easy to get to and walk back afterwards. Next time we go we want to do one of the other tours. The train tour sounds super fun. The Mysterious Journeys episode about Gettysburg is going to be out on DVD in September.

I think it's called the Ghosts of Gettysburg. It starts in town. We are staying very close to the battlefield so we will probably walk over to it at night. I LOVE that stuff. My husband and son are not quite as thrilled as me. We may do other ones after we do the first one. I thought the train one sounded great but I don't think it will be running while we're there.
