Getting to Wide World of Sports

How do you get there? Are there any buses?

I would also like to know how to get to Wide World of Sports at Disney.
We will be staying at POR. Do any of the Resort buses go there?

I am not 100% sure but I heard a Driver telling a family this past weekend to take the bus to Disney Studios (MGM) than in the Charter Bus location there will be buses that will take you to Wide World of Sports Complex.

And when we arrived at MGM I did see some buses waiting.

We are going down with the school's lacrosse team for Disney Spring Training at World of Sports, and staying at CB. We were told that there would be buses running from the resorts to the sports complex during this time....

Unless your actual event has arranged this as a special bus, it is not true.

The only transportation to WWoS is from the Studios from 8am to 8pm.

I agree with Carol. The only service to WWOS is from the Disney Studios. Last June my DS and I were walking from the Studios to the Boardwalk and came upon the sign for the WWOS bus. In all my walking between the Studios and the boardwalk area I had never noticed that sign before.
I also do not believe this service runs nearly as frequently as the regular WDW bus service to and from the theme parks.

Thanks for the info on the busese to WWOS.
We were there Dec '04 for Pop Warner Cheerleading and there was transportation from POR but cheerleaders were staying there. I guess that's why they had a bus there for the girls. Will catch a bus at MGM.
