Getting to Universal Studios

I just need to know the best and safest way to get from WDW to US. We are flying in and will be staying in WDW. There will be 5 of us. Thanks!

We are also staying at a WDW resort (Port Orleans Riverside) and will need to get back and forth to Universal for a couple of days. When are you going to be there?! We leave this Saturday and will be there through the 23rd!

The least expensive way would be to rent a car for the day. Its really easy to get to US/IOA from WDW. The next best option would be the Mears shuttle. I think its around $20/pp roundtrip.

Taxi would also be an option and probably more cost effective with 5 people.

We are leaving Thursday May 21st. I'm thinking about going to US on Sunday the 24th, figured crowds would be worse in Disney that day.
