getting to universal from pop

Does anyone know if there is a bus that can take you to universal? We are staying at the pop in Aug. and the grandkids also want to go to universal for a few days. I'm trying to find a way without renting a car.

You have a few options. Disney does not run any buses to Universal/IOA or to SeaWorld for obvious reasons. So...you can hire a towncar service, runs about $60 for a towncar which will hold 4. Various companies will be able to offer a larger vehicle for larger parties. Or you can check out the Mears site..they have a shuttle bus that you can reserve seats on for about $13-15 pp. But it has to be prearranged, so you could call the day before. Then, I believe they will stop at your resort to pick you up. But you don't get a lot of say as to when you leave in the morning or return to your resort.

Thanks for the info....There will be 4 adults and 4 children, so the town car thing wouldn't work unless we rent two of them. I tried checking on renting large van but it was over six hundred dollars for the week, I guess we would be better off renting two small cars. Driving around there doesn't bother me,I've done it many times, but the other couple don't really feel comfortable doing that. If I could find a van to seat 8 at a reasonable price that would be ideal.

Most town car companies offer vans for larger parties and the cost is generally not much more than the Town Car.
For example, Tiffany Town Car- the cost of the trip to Universal from a WDW resort is $70.00 roundtrip, a town car would be $65.00
