Getting to the Wilderness Lodge

Thursday, December 15 is our MVMCP day. We only have tickets to the party that night. We know we can enter at 4. We have late lunch reservations at Whispering Canyon Cafe at 2pm. I know we can ride a boat from WC to the MK after we eat. Before we eat, we're planning on touring the monorail resorts presumably beginning with the Poly and ending at the Contemporary. I just realized that I'm not exactly sure how to get from the Contemporary to the Wilderness Lodge. There are eleven of us. I'd sure appreciate your advice or recommendations on how we should get to the Wilderness Lodge. Thanks!

I don't remember if there is a boat directly from contemporary to WL.

In case there isn't:

you can also bus from MK to wilderness lodge (and I find that faster as WL has smaller boats and more often than not I don't get on the first boat). monorail or walk back to mk and jump on the bus there or call an uber (will be 5.84, minimum fare).

technically boating to ft wilderness and then walking from there is also an option but I'd walk to mk and bus over to wl.

There is a boat from the Contempory dock to WL. Or you can walk to MK and take the boat or bus to WL from there if not enough room for all 11.

We toured Contemporary while we stayed at WL. Big disappointment to me. As my son said, 'it's not so contemporary these days'. I know people love it but not my taste, way too plain like an old convention hotel. But yes, there is a direct boat to WL. Takes 5 minutes. You can almost swim it (don't please). Contemporary fans will now beat me up.
