Getting to the Boardwalk

We are arriving at WDW tommorow, and would like to go to the Boardwalk for dinner ( no reservations) My question is how do we get to the Boardwalk from POP ? We have a car but dont think we can park at the Boardwalk hotels with out a reservation. Would rather take a bus if possible. We do not have park tickets for tommorow so we cant go thru Epcot. Thanks in advance.

Take the Pop bus to DHS and walk/take a boat to the Boardwalk from there. Or take the Pop bus to MK and transfer to a Boardwalk hotel bus from there.

If you don't have time for the Bus to HS and don't have kids that need car seats you can always take Uber/Lyft for about $7
We always do Uber/Lyft when going Resort to Resort

You can drive. You're allowed up to 2 (maybe 3?) hours to shop/dine. There may be times where self-parking isn't allowed for people not staying at the resort, but that's typically at peak times like Christmas, Easter, etc.

If you want to take the bus, take it to DHS and walk to the Boardwalk from there.

Parking could very well be an issue. Every time I went past BW last week, the lot across the road was closed...only working CMs were allowed in. And there was a CM stationed at the regular resort lot. With Food and Wine going on, BW is a lot stricter about parking.

I was there last week and they were being very strict. There was a large sign on the road - Parking for Boardwalk guests, guests with dining reservations and event guests only. The lot next to the gas station had a sign "lot closed" with a guard.

I think you can take any bus to any park really, then connect with to a BW bus and go from there. May not be able to do it from Epcot since the boats and walking are the only transportation used to get between BW and Epcot. Or go to DHS and walk/take boats.

That's true, but DHS would be the most direct route from Pop. After the parks are closed, it's DS.
