Getting to shades of green

We will be staying on the Boardwalk, and would want to get to Shades of Green to get our passes. Any recommendations on how to get there. Won't have a car with us.

Take the resort bus to the TTC (Ticket and Transportation Center). You can wait for a bus to SOG OR you can walk to the Polynesian, then cross the street to SOG. I would guess this to be a less than 10 minute walk (even for those not so lean and mean ). You do have to cross the main road to do this from the Poly to SOG so you may not want to take little ones with you if you have any concerns. They could explore the grounds of the Poly while you take the walk.

Hi..

My bf (USCG) and I and his twin 5 yr olds are going to be staying at the Old Key West.. and i really dont want to take all the extra time to take the buses to the TTC and then the Shades of Green bus to the SOG.. I stayed there in 1996 and i remember the wait for the SOG bus being long..

We decided that he is going to take a cab over to the resort.. (figure at most $5 to get there from our hotel) and pick up the tickets... if he does this the night before our first day in the park.. then he is going to take the cab roundtrip.. if its the first morning.. then we are all taking the cab together and then taking the SOG transportation.. and then hitting the MK after.
