Getting to Segway Tour at FW

We have a segway tour planned at Fort Wilderness. I was wondering if we took the boat from the Contemporary, can we walk to the bike barn (where you are suppose to check in for the tour) or do we need to take the internal bus? We will also have a car with us, would it be better to drive and then walk to the bike barn or do we still have to take the internal bus?

From the boat dock, you could walk a little more than 1/2 mi. to the Bike Barn, or you could board an internal bus near Pioneer Hall.

From the car parking at the Outpost, the walk would be about 3/4 mi.; the bus would be easier.

it is about a 1/2 mile walk either way or take the internal bus as there is no car parking at bike barn. bike barn is in the middle of campground near store and pool area. I am not sure which colors of internal buses or if all go to that area.

Ok thanks. 1/2 mile walk is not much so we'll probably take the boat and walk. Thanks again
