we're staying at either POP or ASM (havent decided yet!), but are probably not hiring a car this time.
has anyone either got a cab from disney or a bus (i think they go from DTD to somewhere near seaworld, can anyone confirm this?) to seaworld?
if so roughly how much did it cost?
thanks in advance

You can check www.mearstransportation.com and use their fare calculator to estimate the cab fare. I don't know if you want to use Lynx...I've heard that it can take a long time to get to SW.

Mears also operate a shuttle service thorughout the day which used to be $16 pp retrun trip. Hotel pick up and drop off; book the day before

The round trip fare was increased to $18.00 this year.

Is this $18pp RT? In the past i've always gotten a cab and it was roughly about $50RT, which was fine for a family of 5. This summer it will be just 2 of us going to seaworld and $36 total plus tip would be nice.

Yes...it's $18.00 per person...unless it's gone up again due to the economy. ;)

We are using the Lynx buses, you can get a weeks pass for 16 bucks! I think its a better deal!

Just wondering -from people who have used Lynx- Is the only pick up for Lynx at the stop where employee parking lot is located and where you see employees waiting when you leave the park at closing or do you have to cross the street in all the traffic leaving the park? That seems like a really long walk-2 blocks at least through the busy parking lot to get there or have they started a pick up where the taxis wait? Is there a stop at the hotel across the street?
Also did you feel safe using this method to get back to Disney.
