If I booked my resort stay myself, rather than through Disney Cruise Line, does that mean I will be unable to use Disney transfers from the ship to the resort? I've paid for ground transfers, but it is not giving me the option of cruise to resort, only cruise to airport. Will I have to go to the airport from the cruise, and then take the transfer from airport to resort? Is there a charge for that?
Thanks

You can use the transfers from the ship directly to the resort. At the end of your cruise, there will be several buses lined up to take guests to resorts, and a friendly cast member directing passengers to the correct bus.

I think there is a glitch on the website and you need to call DCL to arrange for the transfer to go to the resort. But you can book it. We are DVC members, so we did not book our resort stay through DCL and were able to book it.

You have to call DCL to arrange going to the resort and then if you want to go from the resort to MCO you need to call WDW (still free from the resort to MCO). This is probably the best performance you will get out of the Magical Express. They will have you to your resort before 9:30am if you have the early breakfast seating. The one time we used it they had us at the Boardwalk at 9:15 which included a stop at Pop Century before they dropped us off. Have fun!

I originally was doing this. It is a $75 fee each way. So I opted to do a to do a car service and have a little more flexibility
If I wanted to stop to get groceries or anything else.... For a couple bucks more. I'm heading to Grand Floridian for a week after. I just had charged this booking last week, and the price was $75 bucks, and we are CM's!

You can book DCL transfers from the ship to resort either by phone in advance or I think that you can do it on the ship up to 3 days prior to docking back at PC. It's $35/person and if you book it prior to boarding the ship there will be a series of letters on your KTTW card that will indicate that you are taking the transfers from port to resort. You then just go to the busses when you get off, show a CM your card and then they will direct you to a bus that is going to your resort. You have to take your luggage with you - no separate transport like when you come from the resort to the port. As others have said, even if you're one of the last people off the ship, you'll get to your resort pretty early. We've always been lucky and have been able to check in and get a room even at about 10-ish but we go during low season. If you're too early to get a room, they can hold your luggage while you head to the parks.

Well, I was told 3 times...75. That is why I canceled it and moved on.

I know that it's $75/person in the Med and from London to Dover - maybe someone looked it up wrong or got confused between PC and Europe. It's always been $35/person from WDW to PC for us.

yah, I guess the CM's all that I talked to, do not have a clue, I guess everyone I talked to was wrong...

Well, I just went to the DCL website pulled up a random cruise for two adults and added transfers for both ways:

2 adults, there and back is 140$. That means it is is 35$ per person per direction. I could not select resort (that seems to be a glitch on the website), but the price to resort and to airport has always been the same.
