Hi Disers,

I'm taking my second trip to Disney in April. It will be my first time staying at Coronado, first time on DDP, and first time eating at Ohana:cool1: Can't wait for all of it!

I will be relying completely on Disney transportation. We have a 5:20 reservation. How do you recommend getting from Coronado to Ohana and what time would you leave the resort? Do you recommend just the reverse for getting back?

I was thinking of bussing to Magic Kingdom and taking the monorail to the Poly. I've never done this before??

Thanks for your help!

Bus to Magic Kingdom and then Monorail or boat to Poly depending on which has the shorter wait.

The alternative is to take bus to Downtown Disney and another bus to Poly. An option if you have reason to go to Downtown Disney, otherwise it would be longer.

I would recommend being at the Coronado bus stop no later than 4:20. Once you get to the MK you can either take the monorail or small boat to the Poly. If the weather is nice the boat ride can be very pleasant. Just be aware that it will go to the Grand Flo first. We had a dinner ressie at Narcoosee's last week and we took the boat even thought it was cool out. It adds a little more fun to the trip
I would not recommend routing through Downtown Disney. Busing can be difficult there with long waits and crowds. the only time that we will go to DTD now is when we are Staying at Saratoga or Old Key West and can take the boat.
As far as the return trip is concerned either boat or monorail to the MK and then bus home. If Studios is still open when you finish dinner you could also get a bus from the Poly to Studios and then one to CRS, but that wouldn't be our first choice.
We dine out quite a bit at the various resorts and have enjoyed trying different transportation options. For us, it's part of the fun.

You can also use the Epcot monorail to the TTC since the TTC is in walking distance to the Poly. If you want to try something different on your way back, you could walk to the TTC after dinner (you'll probably want to do a little walking after Ohana anyway!) and then take the monorail from the TTC to Epcot where you can hop a bus to your resort. I've done this to go from the Poly to Pop before to avoid MK bus crowds.
