Getting to MK for an early reservation

I made an 8:20 breakfast reservation at the Crystal Palace on a day when the MK opens at 9am. I am getting all sorts of conflicting info about how to get there! Different people at Dining have told me all sorts of different things. I think the buses will start running by 8am. Will they drop me right off at the MK? Some are telling me the buses at that time will only go to the ticket center, where I will catch a monorail, thereby missing my reservation time! In the past I have taken early buses and waited to get into the MK when it opened.

I think I just need to go to the gate with ID, my reservation number, and my annual pass, and that ought to do it. If they are going to send me to the ticket center I will probably just sleep in

Its just amazing all the wrong info that is out there about this.

We usually do an early adr at Mk and one at Epcot. We usually are at BC so for the Epcot one we walk. But the Mk one we catch the bus just like any normal day at WDW. Usually there is a CM standing at the bus stop asking which character breakfast we're going too. The bus takes you straight to MK just like normal. Once you get off the bus you'll walk up to the security lines. Go to the ones on the right b/c pass that is where you have to enter for pre-park opening character breakfasts. It's the guest relations side of the gate area. You'll see a sign saying character breakfasts and a CM will be there to check your name off. Then you'll go through the turnsitles and into MK. Make sure you have your camera ready b/c you can get some unbelievable pictures of the castle!

No need to go to the TTC or anything like that.
