What's the easiest way to do this? I don't remember if the boat from Epcot stops there.

Maybe I should just take the boat from Epcot over to the Boardwalk, then from the Boardwalk the boat over to MGM (or walk).

Any ideas??

I would think that if you exit through Future World, your best bet is a bus to MGM (personally, I've never taken it, but I'm sure there is one). If you exit through the International Gateway, then walking to MGM is probably fastest, because it cuts out the waiting time for a boat from BW. If you don't want to walk the whole way, walk to BW and catch the boat.

You don't have to get off the boat. If you get on one of the Friendship boats at Epcot, it will stop at Beach Club, then Boardwalk Villas, then the Swan and Dolphin and finally at MGM. It runs the route in reverse on the way back to Epcot from MGM.

You can walk if you want, and for some it might be a little faster, but taking the boat for the entire ride was easier on our feet. And our experience was that we didn't have to wait very long for a boat to arrive.

If you leave Epcot by bus, you will have to be taken to a resort first, and then catch another bus to go to MGM. Buses do not run park-to-park.

Disney has buses between the theme parks. How else would guests park hop? Generally the MK bus stops at the TTC.

Guests near FW should just take the direct bus from to Disney-MGM studios; guests near the world show case can take the boat or walk.

They do?!?!?!?!? I've been there many times and I never knew or heard of this. I've never seen a bus for MGM at Epcot; all the stations I've seen are for resorts. Is this new? Is there someplace special set aside for park buses that is apart from the stations for resort buses?

We've always park hopped from Epcot by using the Friendship boats if we are heading to MGM, or taking the monorail to the TTC, or if we want a break between parks, taking a bus to a resort and then catching another one for the next park we wanted to visit.

ETA - I just spoke with my DSis, and she said park-to-park buses DO exist. We've never used them and I had no idea these existed. I'm going to have to pay more attention on our next trip.

The buses from the theme parks to/from DTD were discontinued years ago but the buses between the theme parks/TTC still run.Taking a bus to the Contemporary may be faster then taking a bus to the TTC and then taking the ferry/monorail.

Thanks for all the information, especially about the boat. I always get off at the Boardwalk so I didn't know if I could continue. I also didn't know there were buses that go between parks. I've only seen the buses at the parks that go to the resorts.

20 more days and I can see these buses for myself!

The Epcot Friendship boats make an entire loop:

Epcot - International Gateway
Boardwalk
YC/BC
Swan/D
MGM
