Getting to Medieval Times from DLH

What's the best way to get to Medieval Times from the DLH since we won't have a car? Not sure if it would be best to take a taxi or try to find a shuttle. Also, if the show gets out at about 8:30 on Friday night, do you think we would have time to make it back to catch the fireworks assuming they start at 9:25? Thanks!

I don't know if there is any shuttle between DLR and MT, but the two locations are only about 8 miles apart, so I would just go with a taxi. Getting back in time for fireworks would be a little tight, but you could probably do it if you are willing to have a less-than-perfect viewing location. Maybe call for a taxi just as your show at MT is ending so you can make a quick escape.

Take a taxi, let the front desk know when you want to leave and they will have a taxi waiting for you.

It would be perfect if we could get back in time to see the fireworks, that way we wouldn't have to wake the kids up to see them. If it's only 8 miles away, we should be able to get back, right? Is there an easy place to get to for watching the fireworks? We don't need a perfect viewing spot or anything.

If you're gonna go back inside the park, Main Street is an ideal location, perhaps the train station.

you can see the fireworks from the esplanade, you can't hear the music tho.

The train station usually has standing room right up until the start of the fireworks, but the best spots are usually taken by 9:00 pm. You'll definitely be able to find a spot to stand on Main St. You just won't be near the castle, but probably somewhere between the half-way point of Main St and the train station.

In my opinion, you'll want to be in a place where you can hear the music.
