Getting to Legoland?

My son is so set on Legoland. Which is fine if we end up driving but if I can find a good price on flights, I'd rather fly. What's my best bet for getting from either CBR or Poly (we aren't sure which yet) to Legoland?

Uber will cost about $32 each way, but if your son is under 6, you'll have to bring your own car seat or booster, depending on age.

Legoland offers a shuttle from the Orlando Eye on I-Drive for $5 a person RT. The problem is getting from your resort to the Eye. You could request Uber with a car seat (not available from Legoland), but now you're talking $40 RT to the Eye, plus the shuttle cost, and at times car seats may not be immediately available.

Another option is just renting a car for the day. The cost would be about the same, or less if you can get a deal.

Have you personally used Uber to and from Legoland? I've thought about doing this, but my concern was there wouldn't be drivers in Winter Haven when its time to head back to WDW.

Here's another vote to rent a car for a day. The drive down to Legoland isn't too bad, about an hour, west on I-4 to 27 then south on 27 to 540. I believe the flexibility of having your own car outweighs the logistics of getting a car for a day. Or two in case there might be something else off site you might want to do the next day.

No, I have not. You're right, that could be an issue. Right now, it looks like there's one UberX in range at 22 minutes out. So maybe dealing with the shuttle is safer, and the cost for the shuttle for 4, plus Uber to and from the Eye is about the same.

Parking is $17; something to include when considering a car rental.
