Getting to know your childs teacher.

My friend (a teacher also at a different school) gives her DD's teacher a sheet with questions on it at the beginning of every year to get to know a little more about them.

She then also has an idea for Christmas & End of the Year Gifts.

Anyone every do this?? Thought it was a nice idea and think I will send one to my DD's teacher.

Some questions she has on hers are ....


Favorite snack, color, author, ice cream, candle scent, classroom theme, candy bar, restaurant. Kind of books they like, stores they like to shop at, any hobbies.

Our second grade teacher asked a letter be sent to him by the first week of school for those very things.

The first grade teacher did a home visit which was very nice.
