Hi, my name is Christy and I'm 34 and live in Spring, Texas just north of Houston. I live with my boyfriend and am hoping for a "sparkly promotion" soon! He has a 5 year old son who will be starting kindergarden in a couple of weeks. I have a 14 year old cat - Sweet Pea (think Fancy Feast cat) who has recently lost her vision. He has 2 shih tzu's, and I have a pond and a fabulous garden! I have a real job to support my creative habit - both gardening and scrapping/swaping.

I've been scrapping intermittently since 2001, and have recently discovered the swap boards! I usually make our Christmas cards and birthday invites. I have a fabulous niece (age 3) and nephew (age 6) who came with us on our recent trip and usually make Christmas cards for them too.

Given the quirks of life, this has become my creative outlet. We've been traveling a lot the last couple of weeks, and I'm happy to be home so I can put my "research" to good use!

My name is Sue and I have been scrapping for about 11 years. There wasn't much around when I started. Stickers, die cuts, scissors and paper was about it.

I've been married for 20 years and have 3 great kids. They are 12, 13 and 17. DD will be a senior in HS this year and my younger 2 are boys. I live in West Michigan but grew up in the subs of Detroit. Any one around here in the GR area let me know, I love to scrap with others but none of my close friends do.

Hi everyone,

I'm Sophie, I'm 21, live in England, don't talk like the Queen or Bert from Mary Poppins and I'm getting married in just over 6 weeks! Me and DF have 2 cats, Jinx and Tinkerbell who are brother and sister. Between us we have two neices (6 going on 16 and 13.5 Weeks) and a nephew (just over 18 months.)

I am at university but it's a special distance learning college (The Open University) where you can take big breaks so I've stopped studying until November so I can get married without worrying about exams. I am studying physics and geology and plan to go for a PhD and work in Astronomy - hopefully the British Space Programme. My dream is to win a Nobel prize for discovering life on another planet - I like to dream big. I'm not working at the moment.

DF is 33 and is a senior finance manager at an NHS hospital. We are moving to his home city but haven't been able to sell our house since he got a job there so he lives with his parents a few nights a week at the moment, it's very stressful with the wedding so close.

I first went to Disney in 2004 and have been every year since with a trip to Disneyland Paris for New Years too. We are honeymooning in WDW with our first ever cruise on the Wonder. Our bachelor/bachelorette parties are both at Disneyland Paris! I started scrapping in 2005 when I discovered this board - they completely enabled me! I have a few completed albums but mostly unfinished ones. My favourite topic to scrap is Disney but I'm so looking forward to scrapping the wedding!!!

Hello everyone. I'm Lisa, I live in Texas w/DH and our two great little girls. I'm a WAHM w/my own business. I've been designing/sewing girls clothing for about 8yrs now. We LOVE Disney and will be going back in December.

I have been scrapping for 4 years now, I started with our first WDW trip. I also cross stitch, I have been doing that for about 13 years now. Some day I want to learn to knit but who knows when that will happen. LOL

I just started learning...it seems super easy in comparision to the other crafts I do, but maybe that's because I haven't tried anything but back and forth yet!

Been paper crafting since childhood with side trips to sewing, crocheting, bauernmaleri, ceramics, macrame, etc but paper is my love - modern scrapbooking since 2000.

What exactly is this? Sounds interesting!

Hey, Jennifer, I think I learned to count like you did, however it seems I've been at it longer than you. I always tell people I am 29, however my license will tell you differently.

My grandma has been telling people she was 29 since I can remember...she recently switched to 23, which is even funnier to me since my sister and I are both older than that now. The best part was how seriously my sister would answer when prompted with "How old is Grandma?" "29"

I'm Renee, and I'm 27. I was an orchestra teacher for 3 years, but this past year I went back to get my masters in violin performance. I will go back to teaching either middle or high school when I get done with this degree. I also run a dance company that I took over from my teacher 5 years ago - I run the performance troupe and teach the advanced class, and I have two other girls who teach my intermediate and beginning classes for me. I have been doing crafts since before I can remember, both at home and in summer programs. My main craft is cross-stitching, but I paint (watercolor, oil), draw, do pottery, photography, sew, quilt, and any other little kits I find interesting (especially if they relate to Disney). I have been putting pictures away in albums since 1986 when I got my first camera, but I don't know when exactly I switched to scrapbooking, probably about 5 years ago. My sister switched first, but I was resistant because they were so expensive and I refuse to crop my photos (I take my photos right in the first place, thank you very much). I do love all the stickers tho, so that finally won me over. We've taken 3 trips to DLR, 2 to DLP, and 9 to WDW, and pretty much all my time is taken up by Disney interests. I found out about the DIS my first year of teaching, when the choir teacher showed me all these amazing Disney sites. So glad he did! I spend a lot of time here.
