Hey everyone! Since we have a bunch of new folks on the board I figured it was time to start another getting to know you thread.

So I get to go first!

I'm Buffy! I am 34 years old and holding. I have been married to DH for 15 years. We have 4 kids - 3 boys and a girl. I'm a NAHM (never at home mom), we are constantly on the go.
We are Disney fanatics! Our first trip was in 2004, and have been back 6 or 7 times since then, I lost count.

I have been scrapping for 4 years now, I started with our first WDW trip. I also cross stitch, I have been doing that for about 13 years now. Some day I want to learn to knit but who knows when that will happen. LOL

I can't wait to get to know everyone better!

Hi! I'm Lynn. I am 34 for one more week when I will be turning 25 for the 10th time

I am a SAHM to a very active 2 year old. I have been scrapbooking for 7 years and I can't believe how much I have evolved since I first started!

DH and I LOVE all things Disney! We got engaged there 12 years ago and will be taking our ds on his first trip there this fall.

Can't wit to "meet" everyone!

Hi, I'm Jennifer, I'll be 29 for the 10th time in 2 weeks

I live in Massachusetts with my DH of 13 and a half (!!) years and my 8 YO DD, Morgan. We have 3 cats, a 15 YO neurotic calico named Ginger, a 11 YO half Siamese/half mutt mix named Alley, and a just turned 1 year old crazy Siamese named Meezer.

I have been scrapbooking since just before Morgan was born, but I seem to collect more supplies than do pages...

I lived in Florida as a child and went to WDW many many times, but our first trip as a family was in November 2005. Since then, we went back last September, and have a trip planned for this November. Can't wait!

Hey there! I'm not new to the DIS but I am new to this board. I have been a lurker on here for awhile so I decided I'd step out, introduce myself and start posting!

My name is Aurora (yes, it actually is. My parents were hippies, lol) and I am 22 years old. I live in South Florida and just recently graduated from the University of Central Florida (very close to WDW!! ) with a degree in Education. I have a job this coming school year teaching a 3rd grade class at a public elementary and I'm so excited (a little scared too).

I am engaged to the most wonderful man in the whole world, Jackson. Our families are family friends and we've known each other for 11 years. We are high school sweethearts and have been dating for 8 years. He recently proposed to me and we are getting married next June.

We are Disney obsessed!! My DF and I try to get to Disney at least once a year since we live pretty close. We just returned from a Disney cruise and had a wonderful time. We are in the middle of buying a house and have already decided that we want our kitchen to be Disney themed (have you all seen the Disney kitchen stuff? Amazing looking!). We have a day trip planned to EPCOT in Early November and we're really looking forward to it.

I love scrapbooking and making all types of crafts! I'm excited to be here on the Creative Boards and can't wait to get some new ideas and share my tips with others!

I am Carla Rae. I live just north of Washington DC with my fiancé and our "zoo" (see my sig). We are getting married next month and are STILL working on logistics! It is a mess. We have been together for 7 years and engaged for 4, so it probably about time we actually get married.

I made my first scrapbook in 2000 and boy has my "style" changed. Those first few years are so simplistic. It used to take my 3-4 hours to do an entire year. There are some pages I have in my current books that took 3-4 hours per page!

Hi, my name is Linda and I'm 25 for the 35th time (yes, you did read that right). I guess I'm a RM&G (retired mom and grandma) and married either 39 years (intermittently) or 31 years (continuously) or 37 years (collectively) depending on how you look at it. Been paper crafting since childhood with side trips to sewing, crocheting, bauernmaleri, ceramics, macrame, etc but paper is my love - modern scrapbooking since 2000.

Thanks for starting this thread, BAMB! I'd love to find other local DISers to scrap with and look forward to meeting y'all in person at scrap events or WDW.

I'm Debbie, I live in Delaware with my DH, DS20, DS16 and 2 furbabies (a yellow lab and a choc lab). I celebrated the anniversary of my 39th bday yesterday for the 9th time. As for my crafts...well...I am a woman of few books, but many supplies. I do other crafts too, but mostly I swap, collect swap items, paint, make jewelry, and my newest is stained glass.

Hi everyone, I am Rebecca, I am 32 and live in West Central FL. I moved this summer as my life changed. My husband of 9 years started seminary and got his first church so now instead of teaching 3rd grade I will be substitute teaching and being a pastor's wife this year.

I have been scrapping for about 3 years now- almost as long as I have been on the boards.

Hi, my name is Jan and I'm a scrapbooking nut

Let's just say that I've been 40-something for a very long time.

I'm a Creative Memories Consultant, and I am my best customer. I wish that I had more time for it, but with my "three" kids - my DH, an 8 year old DD and a 10 year old DS (who also has Asperger's Syndrome) - I hardly have time to think, let alone run a business!

I live in Northern Virginia (just about 5 miles from D.C.) and teach scrapbooking & quilting through a local Adult Education program.

I also take too many photos each vacation (like 500+ for our two days at Disneyland and California Adventure this summer!), so I have a backlog of scrapbooking projects that has overflowed into our dining room for storage. My goal is to scrap 100+ pages a month just so I can somehow catch up! I want my dining room back!!!!!

I'm Denise. I am 35yo (36 in Oct) and live just north of Boston. I have 2 kids (4 if you include DH and Dog). A 2 year old DD and a 6mo DS. DH and I have will be married for 6 years on my birthday (yep, married on my 30th birthday!) this fall.

I work FT and try to find time to scrap when I can. I found a great group of gals here on the Dis and we try to get together at least once a month at a LSS. I have been scrapping for almost 10 years and am still so far behind, I know I will never catch up. But that is ok

Use to work at TDS once apon a time and am a bit Disney obsessed. Been around 30 times. Still working on the first trip with the little ones sometime in '09.

Oh, I also love to golf! Can't wait to retire in FLA. Golf and Disney = Heaven!

I'm Nancy.. from Indiana..
I'm a NAHM like BAMB, you usually find me in my mobile office wants school starts next week!!
I have 2 steps sons... and 3 of my own... but they are all MINE when it comes down to it because my house is the CLUBHOUSE as DH calls it..
I've been married 2 dh for many moons!! I just turned a new ago a week ago but I will tell you, I have told my kids if anyone asks I'm 32 and holding will NOT age again!

I've been scrapping for about 2-3 years now.. and our first trip as a family was also in 2004.. I bet if BAMB and I figure it out.. we probably were there at the same time or just miss one another!!!

Ok, now back to the back to school tradition of sorting clothes, cleaning drawers and closets.. making the shopping list which seems to be minimal this year...and get the book bags load tonight!! Woo hoo!!!

I'm Ann. I get to be 40 at the end of the month.
I am a swapaholic. I don't scrap. I collect paper and cool gadgets and fun embellishments. But I don't use them. I've been not scrapping since my August 2006 trip when I found this board.

Been married 12 years, two boys 10 and soon 7, three cats, three fish in a pond and 25 acres of bliss. I live in the middle of nowhere Ohio, and just need a dog named Courage.

I'm Hope. I'm a winter solstice baby, so I am 32 until then. I graduated college with an engineering degree in 1997, planning to take a year off that has lasted 11 years now! DH and I married in 1998, and we have no kids and not even any pets. The only way my biological clock is ticking is to let me know that I really, really, really want my own house. If I only could stop with the trips and the swapping.

My parents retired to central Florida 3 years ago, and my Mom works at WDW, so I go a couple times a year now. But I didn't make my first WDW trip until 1995. I was always a DL girl, since we lived in Washington state. DH and I spent 5 years in AZ, and we moved to the Denver area in March.

I started scrapping in 1998, after I saw a book DSIL had made of her high school stuff. We honeymooned in WDW, and that book took me 7 years to complete! I got much faster and managed to do a bunch of DL pages, and my first trip to WDW. But now my time is taken up by so much swapping that I haven't scrapped any pages in about a year. That has to change now, because I am making a wedding album for DH's cousin.

Hey, Jennifer, I think I learned to count like you did, however it seems I've been at it longer than you. I always tell people I am 29, however my license will tell you differently.

I am Lisa, my DH, DD15 live in CT. DH and I have been married for (I have to think on that one) 18 years. I work full time outside of the home and am a CM part time for the fun of it. Scrapbooking is my therapy, and I just LOVE getting the new products sent to my house as soon as they are released! Besides, I get to see the UPS man too!

I'm Stephanie, I'm 46 years old, and I live in the Florida panhandle (about 3 1/2 hours from WDW). I live here with my DH of 19 years and my 15 year old DS. We also have 2 cats, Nigel and T.K. I went to WDW a few times while growing up, but didn't start going frequently until DH and I married. We had our honeymoon there and then started making a weekend trip each year. Once we had DS, we started going all the time. We go down to WDW a few times a year. I just have to get my Disney fix every so often! I can't stand being away from it. My DH has hinted about moving to Montana and my first comment to him was that it was too far from WDW.

I've been scrapbooking for about 7 years now, but didn't really do much with it until I started swapping with y'all. Now, I've got bits and pieces of books all over the place!!!

Cross stitching was always my main hobby until I found you guys. Now, it's taken a bit of a back seat. But, I still love it and will be attending a cross stitching get-together in Myrtle Beach for the 11th year in October. I've been stitching about 23 years and right now my cross stitching stash and my scrapbooking stash are fighting over the space in my craft room!!

I've really enjoyed finding this board and it's wonderful how nice everyone is. I love this place and y'all!!!!!

I forgot to mention, that I cross-stitch too. I normally post scrapping pictures, here is a X-stitch photo instead. This is above our bed.

I also have completed Mickey Salutes America, Happiest Celebration on Earth and Mickey Mouse and the Fireman, but they need to be framed. I am currently working on Past, Present and Forever.

Well, I'm coming to your girls when my DS12 has to do cross stitch in Home Ec... the politically correct term now is.. .Family and Consumer Sciences! LOL

Anyway, she has them learn to cross stitch (the Xs, count them and such..) Greek to me... and than she has them so a 9 square pillow... and pj bottoms either shorts or pants... and of course how to cook..but my DS cooks w/ me all the time so I'm not so worried about that!!

Wow Hope, those are fantastic. For as much as I love Disney, you'd think I'd stitch a bunch of Disney stuff, but I've only stitched a couple of little things. I do have the Tinkerbell with the castle kit and one of these days I'll do it. Right now, I'm working on a Baloo bookmark kit that my Mom brought me back from England this summer and a scrapbook cover with the mice from Cinderella.
