Greetings!
I guess I'll add to the Y chromosome crew to keep Dan and Pat company - I'm the Disney planner in our family.
My name is Erick and my DW is Marie - we're early 40's empty-nesters; DS (Erick Jr. 22) graduated from U of Mich last year. I run the local IT group of a small telephone company (we're the ones competing with the Baby Bells) - the only other local member of the IT group is Erick Jr.! Marie is a team leader at EDS; they provide statistical web sites for GM Marketing. We have three feline members of the family: Ariel, Minerva and Luna [and Mr. Rat - a large rubber Halloween rat that came in off the porch and hung around (we put reindeer antlers on him at Christmas)].
Despite the fact that we live in a condo, we love gardening - we have a container garden on our deck (used to call it a pot garden, but we got real funny looks!) We do fruits & veggies; Marie has full-size and grape tomatoes, strawberries and lots of herbs (fresh catnip for the girls!), and I'm Pepper-Man; this year I've got Cheyenne and Habanero (those are hot Hot HOT!) We're both readers, too - the basement bookshelves are overflowing, and we always have 2 or 3 books each that we're in the middle of.
Although I've been a RADP guy since when it was only RAD (10+years) I just discovered DIS this spring - just in time for the FTP Frenzy! The people here seem to be so much nicer - a community of friends, not a gauntlet of snarkers. In fact, we made a dear new friend here on DIS, whom we are going to meet when we go to WDW this October!

), traveling especially to Disney and anywhere else warm with palm trees, cafe mochas, coffee in general, nature, dogs, cats, movies, Jake Gyllenhaal, Johnny Depp, Drew Barrymore, old t-shirts, the color green, MUSIC of all kinds, and i am currently finishing up my BA in Creative Writing. Maybe someday, i will write an original screenplay.

I love staying on property, and I love to stay concierge when I am able to. My favorite park is the Magic Kingdom, and my favorite attraction is Spaceship Earth. I found the DIS while planning my May 2000 trip, and I've been hooked ever since.
We share our home with the Prince of Darkness, aka Billy, our black lab/corgi mix. Bet you didn't know that the ruler of the nether regions is actually a pretty peppy mutt!
My next trip is in Oct. DH can't make it but my Mother will be joining us
DH has been a police officer in North Richland Hills for 5 years. In my free time I enjoy playing with our girls, reading, planning trips to WDW and singing in our church choir. I am looking forward to maybe getting to meet some fellow DIS'ers one day. Who's next??
