I have three wonderful daughters, 7 year old twins and a pretty awesome almost 13 year old. I have been married 8 years to my husband, who works in the computer field, and I teach computers to grades K-5. I'll jump in next! My name is Mary and I'm 46 and a DIS addict as well. I've been married to a wonderful man (MarkRG) for the last 13 years. We have no children, but are kids at heart. We love Disney and since we joined DVC in 2000 have been to WDW every year and have also taken five Disney cruises (with a 6th booked for next Christmas).

I have worked in the Advertising/Marketing/Printing field for the last 25 years. I'm a good cook, but a picky eater. I'm lousy at housework, but good at keeping the bills straight and balancing the checkbook . My newest love is scrapbooking.

Great idea, Pum! I've been seeing so many new names as of late, and thinking a getting to know you thread is in order!

I'm Judi, can't even bear to discuss my age, and am married to John who is 41 (I have no problem discussing his age!) We have two boys - Luke, age 8, and Drew, age 4. We live in Washington, D.C. in an old house (103 years old) that we bought 10 years ago. Owning an old house has its merits, but its a lot of work as well - it seems as though we are always having to fix something. Both DH and I love puttering around the house, so we enjoy it.

I made a career switch last year from fine arts to human resources, and so far I am enjoying it. I see me lasting only a year or two more in HR though, I miss my creative outlet. I own an art studio where I sell portraits and landscapes, but have severely neglected it in the past 6 months. I just got a call yesterday from a former client, though, she wants me to paint a portrait of her great grandmother, from an old picture, so I'm looking forward to getting back in to what I do best.

We also love Disney, but have discovered that we really like Orlando in general. We love the Universal parks, and have found we also like staying off-site for a change of pace. Our last trip was in July and I'm already planning the next one!

My name is Michelle and I'm 32. I work as an Information Security Administrator - simply put, computer security, mostly mainframe. I'm currently working on my MBA and hope to either quit working entirely or only work part-time in the next few years. I've been married to DH for 11 years and we have 2 DDs (Natalie is 11 and Katie is 6). We also have a 2yo great dane named Zeus, who is the biggest baby. DH is a nurse practitioner who is currently working his but off so we can pay off student loans. He is teaching nursing full time, flight nurse full time and part-time practitioner in an ER. We love Disney and since buying into DVC in 2000, it seems we continue to increase our visits to both Hilton Head and WDW. That's pretty much it. next...

Im Katie, Im 31 and a SAHM. Ive been married to DH, Peter, 35 for 8 years. He is a tech support manager. Even though he tries to make it look like Im the obsessed Disney freak, he loves it just as much as I do. We live in Woburn Ma, the city where I grew up.
We have 2 DSs, Cameron 6, and Colton 3 who we are successfully turning into Disney addicts too. We are all anxiously awaiting our next trip in 4 weeks(a neighborhood family is joining us), and our first Christmas in WDW in 5 months.
Im a big Boston Bruins fan, and I enjoy jogging, skating, and cooking.

My name is Donna and I am 44, married for almost 24 years, 3 boys, ages 21, 18 and 12. We have 2 pups, Missy who is 10 1/2 and Sadie who is 1 1/2 and has a heart problem. We live outside of New Orleans and grew up here.

I am an RN as my title says. I worked OB/GYN for 21 years, for the last 2 years I have worked in an office for a health insurance company. I would dearly love to retire, or go part time, but that is a few years away.

We love Disney (well maybe I love Disney and my family tolerates it). We used to go to WDW every 2 years...we are currently more like every 3 years now. We also love Destin Florida..actually a passion...and love the Smoky Mountains. We very much enjoyed a recent trip to Las Vegas. As you can see, I love travelling.

I was an Underwriter but had a bad situation develop so I've been hanging out with DS this summer> Unfortunately, it's almost time to get back to the work force. My interests include travel, ghost towns, ghosts themselves , history, Universal and Disney! I love computer games and surfing the 'Net. I've been at the DIS on and off since just after the website started. It's an impossible habit to break.

My name is Lisa and I will be 34 in a little over a month. My husband is Patrick and we will be married 7 years in October and have a son Matthew who will be 4 in November. I do real estate settlements for a title insurance company and DH works for Staples. We have 2 cats, Kirby who is all cat and Spencer who is part dog, and he is all mine. He greets me at the door sits, sits at my feet at dinner, sleeps on my pillow above my head and will sit on my lap any time we are just watching TV.

We went to WDW on our honeymoon, 2 year anniversary and then when our son was 13 months old, and took the DVC tour and joined 4 months later. Since then we have enjoyed our vacations so much more, taking the time to take it all in and not feel rushed as we have many many more years ahead of us!!

We are all about Disney in our house, thankfully my obsession has totally rubbed off on our son, he is totally into it as well. My total dream is to become a CM at WDW someday, I know everyone says its not fas great as people think, but its my passion, so I have to believe different

My DH is an 18+ year veteran of the armed forces and we currently live in northern Italy. Due to the fact that we are in a foreign country I am geographically unemployed, but when we live in the US I work in the administrative management field. I love Disney, and as my name suggests I love all things tigger....woo hoo hoo hoo! I love to DIS and I owe my 40 pound weight loss to the wonderful support I have received on the DIS WISH board. I am Jessica. I am 34+ years old, married to Jeff for 8 years and have 2 beautiful DDs (Ashlynn, 4.5 years and Maiya, 21 months). We also have one kitty (Symba) and one dog (Sasha), and yes, DH feels very outnumbered some days!

DH is a pilot inthe AF, and I am in the midst of a career change. When youngest DD was born, I quit the full time work force to be a SAHM, but now that both DDs are in their respective pre-school programs, I am entering the workforce in a sales position. Like DH, I was full time military when I resigned to be mom, so this whole civilian work place is pretty wild. I mean, they even allow smoking in my office. WOW!

Hi! My name is Allison. I'm 24 years old. I've been married to my DH, Ryan (Dizz-knee-whirl) for 3 years. DH actually found the DIS while we were planning our WDW honeymoon. We just had our first child, Colin, on July 2nd. We also have two other "kids"...Maggie, our 4 yo Yorkie, and Milo, our 2 yo Corgi.

DH is in college finishing up his music ed degree. He also is the percussion instructor at a local high school. I just graduated from law school in May. I was supposed to take the bar exam this past week, but since our DS decided to arrive a month early (his due date was July 31st), I didn't take the bar exam...I'll be taking it in February...so I'm not officially an attorney yet. I plan on going back to work in September and I'll just be a law clerk until I can take the bar. I love DS a whole lot and love being with him, but I must admit that I already miss working...I knew I would not be the SAHM type.

DH and I both LOVE WDW. DH went tons of times as a child and I went a few times. We have been to WDW every year since our honeymoon in 2000. We'll be skipping 2004 since DS will be so young, but we're hoping to go back w/ DS in December 2005 to celebrate DH's graduation. Until then, I just hang out here going to WDW through other's reports and pics.

I am the Joan in Mamajoan. It is an old nickname that followed me from my days at SIU.. ya , I am the mothering type...LOL

I am near 44 years old and have 4 kids, 2 grandkids and a good guy, dh, Barry.
We now live in Hollister, Ca..... land of veggies and cows. Dh was in the Marine Corps for 12 years. We are originally from Illinois, then bounced around Ca and HI.
The "gotta hobble" in my tag refers to my insistance to walk again after having a very bad car accident 4 years ago.. I am a stubborn woman. I am also an optimist! Quite the SILLY GOOSE myself!
I enjoy volunteering, cooking, reading, a quite of bit of TV.esp GH!, web browsing,
LAUGHING and meeting people of all sorts.

I found the Dis while searching for information about WDW. I stayed because of the people who wander about these boards. The Dis was my first adventure into "meeting" people online. It has been a grand adventure as I can count some members as being "good friends" now. That in itself is a blessing!

My name is Bobbi. I am 23 years old and I'm marrying Brendan on V-day 2004 in Las Vegas (my other favorite place!). A few days after it's off to Disney for our Honeymoon! We consider this Brendan's first trip to Disney because although he went when he was 2, he has no memories. This will be my 7th trip to Disney!

We have no children as of yet, but we do have 1 dog and 2 cats. We're both currently unemployed (ouch) after being laid off from Countrywide. Trying to find another job in the mortgage industry.... it's tough. I'm hoping to win the lottery though

Don't remember how I found the DIS, but I lurked for about 5 months before I actually signed up. That's one of the reasons I have so many posts in such a short amount of time - there was tons of stuff I had to catch up on.

We have two kitties, Dallas and Chatham. I currently work as a claims rep. in one of the top insurance companies in the country. I like it, especially compared to the restaurant industry which was my last job. Why anyone would be a restaurant manager longer than necessary is beyound me!!! Hope I didn't insult anyone!!

Hi everyone I'm Jean. I'm 44, and have been married for almost 20 years. Our kids are Marshall 16, Ian 13, and Katie (11 on Tuesday!). I am a kindergarten teacher's aide in Western Ma.-the forgotten part of the state DH is a country boy, and I am a city girl, but somehow it works- he overlooks my shoe addiction, and I don't mention all the junk he picks up from the " take it or leave it" section of the dump. I will be the first to admit that my DH spoils me I am a volunteer adult literacy tutor , and also a diehard Democrat-I've been to many state conventions as a delegate, and I'm one of the chairs of our local Democratic Committee. I also love r&b and rap music, much to the amusement of my kids and their friends ( " Mom, can Evan borrow your Snoop Dogg CD?" Oh, and did I mention I love WDW which is how I found the DIS, and how I met all the great people here .............next........

Hi all! I think I have done this before...but here goes.

I am Lisa (lisajl) I turn 41 today! AAAHHH!!! Ok..better than last year...hated turning 40.
I have been married almost 19 years to my DH Lee(or Leon) depends on which family he is with (mine or his).

We have three children Brianna-17, Kyle-9 and Sean-6.
We also have a dog, Chloe...she is my avatar...and we have three cats, Daisy, Molly and Kit.

I work for a veterinarian and love it (most days). My husband works for a local school systems as a network specialist (computer geek).

I LOVE DISNEYWORLD! We had a great time when we went in Dec. It had been so long since we had been there we forgot how to have fun...did not take long to get back in the swing of things.

I love to find dead people....ok...genealogy...don't want to scare anyone.

My latest obession..Johnny Depp...as if you could not tell from my signature. DH just has to get used to it....JD's not going anywhere.

I am 36 and a Mom to a daughter who is 17 and a son who is 15.I am also married to a wonderful man who is 10 yrs younger .He is a Firefighter/Paramedic and is not a Disney fan ! I work at a 24 hour emergency vet clinic and will be going to culinary school soon.
Disney has been my favorite thing since I was around 4 and we lived near Disneyland.I go to Disney World at least 1 time a year and 2 times if I am a good girl .
