Getting to Fantasia Gardens from onsite resort?

Hello,

We're staying at CSR in September and will likely go to Fantasia Gardens for a round of mini-putt one evening.

Wondering what the best way to get there is? To me it sort of looks like maybe taking the bus to HS and then taking the boat to Boardwalk and walking over?

It sort of looks like maybe you can take the bus to Epcot and then walk there too?

Or are there other options?

Any recommendations on what the closest or best dining options are would be would also be appreciated. I'm assuming DBW restaurants? How far of walk is that from Fantasia Gardens? We're on DDP (FD) so we won't likely do Swan or Dolphin restaurants even though they look closest.

Can you catch a bus or boat from the parks to Swan or Dolphin? And walk over?

Personally, I'd bus to HS. You can take the boat to Swan/Dolphin and walk from there. I think that's probably going to be your closest route.

I wouldn't take a bus to Epcot and walk, because that's going to drop you at the main entrance and not at the IG entrance, which is the walkway in the general direction of Fantasia.

That's right, from CSR, the best route via Disney Transport would be a bus to DHS, and then boat to the Swan, and walk to FG. When you get off the boat, walk towards the Swan, but don't go in; turn right along the waterfront, and then the pathway on your left just before reaching the Dolphin's sand beach goes directly to FG. Here is a map.

But that could all take about an hour. If your party is 7 people or less, you might want to just take a taxi. It is a very short ride, and the fare would probably be closer to $5 than $10 (+tip.)

And yes, you can easily walk to the BW. Just walk back the same way, but instead of turning left towards the boat dock, continue straight across the bridge to BW; it's only a couple of minutes further.
