Getting to early morning ADR questions

Hi all, We just changed around some park days and had to change the ADRs to go with them. Unfortunately all that was left for the day we wanted to go to Chef Mickey's was either 7:50am or 9:55 am. My kids would be starving by 9:55 and it would leave us getting to our park (our only full Epcot day) much later than we'd like (not worried about getting there by rope drop just want to be there in the morning). So I made the reservation for 7:50.

The question is how to get there from CBR? Normally we'd just take the bus to MK and walk to CR...but I am worried about a bus not coming in time or getting us there late. Considering a cab but we have a 4 year old and 2 year old who are both in car seats. I'd probably let the 4 year old do a booster for the cab ride but how hard is it to get a cab that either has a booster and a car seat or 2 car seats? Or will FL law allow the 4 year old to ride without one (for just that one ride only!)

I would take the Disney Bus. If you get to the bus stop at least an hour before your ADR you will be on time.

I would not allow a 2 and 4 year old in a cab without car seat/boosters. That one ride could involve a car accident.

Oh yes if I got a cab I would want a cab with car seats, just don't know how hard it is to get a cab with 2 car seats or at least one booster and one car seat. I don't know what the FL law is for the 4 year old but I know it is definitely a requirement for the 2 year old :)

For an ADR at 7:50, you shouldn't have any problem taking the bus to MK and walking to the CR. Be out at the MK bus stop by 6:50. That should get you there with time to spare. Ask the driver what the fastest way to get to chef mickeys is...he may very well offer to drop you at the CR! If not, just walk over.

You should mention your early A.D.R. to the hotel concierge the day before. Disney runs some early busses exclusively for resort guests who have breakfast reservations at other resorts or parks.

Just to clarify: the buses are not exclusive. Just like all WDW transportation, they're available to anyone at WDW. Perhaps PP meant especially for early breakfasts.

But do tell the driver of the bus to MK where you are going. At that hour, there's a good chance you'll be dropped at the resort (but no guarantee.)

There's no need to do this. Buses start running at 6:30 every morning.
