Getting to Disney with family of six from MCO

I don't know when specifically for Disney/DME/Mears to Disney, but the airport is moving most if not all transportation options to the new "Intermodal transportation Center" at the south end of the airport. It will be next to the new South Terminal that the airport is building scheduled to open in 2022. The infrastrcuture may not be around in 2022, ie, the pickup points in Terminal A & B. Or if your flight arrives in Terminal C there won't be any.

I wasn't aware of this, thanks for sharing the info.

You can find Ubers that guarantee 6 passengers with a car seat. But they may only have one.
Not any more you can't. For about a year, both Uber and Lyft have used Covid capacity restrictions, as follows:
  • All riders must be masked for the entire duration of the trip.
  • No riders are allowed to sit in the front passenger seat.
  • Therefore, the maximum capacity became 3 for regular Lyft and UberX, and 5 for XL with both companies.
Realistically, with 6 people with luggage, unless you are traveling extremely light, you'd need two XL's anyway.

Gosh darn covid. Well then a split of ubers gets you 2 car seats.

We are planning a summer 2022 trip and will have a few more than you (9 people, 2 of which are kids). Our plan is probably to do a car/van/limo type service. With that many people, I am fearing the cost of the Mears option will be around the same or only a little less than having a car service take us and then we don't have to worry about stopping other places or how long we have to wait for the bus.

Thanks! I sent an email four days ago and didn't want to be pushy - but I guess I will send another one
I had an issue where i tried communicating with tony via my work email, but it must of not gotten to him (blocked or sent to his junk mail). Then I sent emails from my personal one and he gets back sometimes immediately or within a few hours.
