Getting to DHS early from Poly

DH and DS are both early birds who wake with the sun. DS will have a broken heart forever if he doesn't make it into Jedi Training at DHS. Park opens at 9am and they'd like to be there at 8am. We're staying at Poly. What's the best way for them to travel? My understanding is that buses will probably start picking up around 8am? Or do they come earlier? We will have a vehicle with us - is that our best bet?
