Getting to CP before MK opens

We have 8:00 breakfast ressies for Crystal Palace. We are staying at POFQ. Please talk me through how we'll get there. I have been getting mixed info and am now confused!!

Worst case scenario, you get to MK before it opens, you go to one of the castmembers mulling around the entrance kiosks or go to the ticket booth and someone there will tell you what to do.

You probably will get there and Main street will be open, then go down the street until just before the bridge (there should be a rope or some time of divider across the road) at that point CP is on your left, simply tell one of the CMs you have a breakfast ressie @ CP and they will either just let you go or have walkie talkies and can check your name to your ressie. Don't worry about it, they do it allthe time, you will get in. Have fun!

Thanks! Can we take the bus directly from POFQ to MK or do we have to go through TTC?

You will be able to take Disney transportation from the resort to MK. There will be a bus that runs to MK in plenty of time to get you there for an 8:00am breakfast. I would ask at the resorts front desk what time the first bus comes by ... make sure to allow yourself plenty of time.

Once you pass through park security, you will go to the turnstiles at the far right (they will be marked or a CM will be announcing) for breakfast customers only. After you are let through the turnstile, you may have to wait in another line before getting let in under the train station area ... or you may just head on into Main Street.

We went directly to MK from POR in October for our 8:10am reservation on a day when MK opened at 9:00am, so I'm guessing it would be the same for POFQ. You can double check with the bus drivers (if you get there a day or so before your breakfast) and the front desk at POFQ.

I am not sure if it matters which entrance you would go but if your ADR happens to be when the Magic Kingdom is having AM EMH, you will be allowed in since your staying at POFQ. If the ADR is when the Magic Kingdom is having their regular 9:00 AM park opening, just find the Cast Members with a clip board of the guests with ADR's before the park opening and once they check you off you will be let in.

You will take the bus from POFQ to MK. Once you get there, there's a check in area for those with ADR's (There's a huge sign - you can't miss it). They'll put you in a line (it's roped off from the other main area). Then they let everyone with ADR's to CRT or CP go in around 7:55 a.m. At least that's how they did it when we were there in Sept.

Check with the front desk about it - we had 8:00 am ressies for Chef Mickeys (staying at Beach Club) and they told us to get on the first character meal bus which starts running at 6:30. We actually got there around 7 but they seated us early which was good because it took us a long time to eat...

Lucky you. Really don't sweat it. It's a piece of cake. Get there nice and early because you'll never have Main Steet practically all to yourself ever again. It is a great time to take pics, but now I'm getting ahead of myself. Take the Disney bus. They run early for guests with ADRs and tour reservations. As you approach the gates, you'll see a sign and some CMs around a gate . (A pp said far right. When we went, it was far left; so can't be sure where, but probably off to one side.) The CM will check your reservation and you'll be let in. I think the MK in the early, before opening, hours are when it is at its most magical. Enjoy your time there. That's why I say get there early. You don't want to rush this part of the meal.
