We are staying at Pop and we have chef Mickey resi at 7:25 am :scared1:

How would I be able to get there at that time?

Take the bus from Pop. If you tell the driver you're going to Chef Mickey's depending on the driver and how busy he is, he may drop you off directly. If not, take the bus to MK and the monorail (or walk) over.

Take the MK bus and then walk over.

I don't think you will be the only ones on the bus at that time but if you are ask the driver if he could drop you off at CO. Drivers are only permitted to deviate from their route if no other guests are affected.

Thanks yo guys are quick.

another question. How long should I factor in at that hour to get there?

i wish this was the case - we were on the bus headed to the mk for adr's at crystal palace - a group was running late (their own fault) and the driver took them to the contemporary which in turn made the rest of us late - really irritated me as the bus took forever to get there in the first place.

We had an early ADR for Boma so we took the AK bus over. We were the only ones on the bus but the driver still could not take us to AKL directly. He was nice enough to radio over and see how long it would take for us to get a bus over. We waited a total of about 10 minutes.

The same thing happened to us last year. We had an 8:00 am ADR for Crystal Palace in MK and thought we had allowed ourselves plenty of time. However there was a group that was running late for Ohana's, and the driver decided to take them to the Poly, then proceeded to the contemporary and dropped off those with ADR's at CM. Unfortunately because of all this it made us late for our reservations and everyone else on the bus who was heading to CP. :sad2:

To each their own, but I couldnt imagine getting up at 6 am on vacation!

It's not somthing we will be doing every day and this was our day for CM and Mk. The boys are used to getting up early for School as are my parents (both teachers). It was the time we could get. I may still try to make it a little later. We can sleep in the next day.

That driver was wrong in taking them to CO while there were other gests on board. This is a direct violation of WDW policy even though it will only take the driver a total of about 5 minutes to do.

As far as taking forever to get to CO, the CO is right across the street from the MK bus stops. :confused3 Its a matter of making a left or a right at the traffic light.

NO bus driver should be deviating from his route if there are others on that bus. If there is no one else on the bus, then fine. It's not fair to allow one group to be ontime while making others late. If a group is running that late, they should be taking a cab instead.

As for those early morning buses, be aware that they do not run as often as the regular park buses do. They start at about 6:15-6:30, and come every 20+ mins, so if you arrive at the stop as the bus is leaving you could have a longish wait for the next one. For an ADR at 7:20ish, I would be out at the MK bus stop by 6:30. If you are the only ones on the bus, fine, you could ask if you could be dropped at the CR but you will be early. The walk from the MK is about 8 mins.
Now, if you miss the bus, and the next one doesn't come along until closer to 7, then sure, ask the driver what the fastest way to the CR from the MK is...the monorail or walking. In some instances they will just drop you off on the way. I hate asking outright. I would much rather let the driver feel that they are being magical if they can drop us!!!

I would take a taxi because it would be a direct route and you don't need to worry about getting on a Disney bus and waiting a while for one if you miss it. Of course you got to be willing to spend the money for one because I am sure that is also going to be a factor.

How would I be able to get there at that time?

Take the Bus to Magic Kingdom then walk to CR (this is what we did ad it worked great)

Or

Just hop in a cab!!! we did this more then we expected after we found out that the prices were not bad like under $10 per ride...

I would go the Taxi route also! At least you save some time and its more convenient!

If your kids are used to it, I guess its a different story. We were always "sleepers."

I have thought about when my niece is older...I've never been to the rope drop or anything all the times I have been. I really have no desire to haha...but, maybe she and I will try it one trip when she is older.

I have seen some suggestions to take a cab. There are 7 our party so it would take 2 cabs proably. I am also going to keep calling and see if we can get a ADR closer to 8. It was the only time we could get for our group size. We are seperated most of the TS meals and I really wanted us all tog. for this one.

You can call down to bell services prior to leaving your room and have them call for a taxi van.

I've traveled many times as a party of 7 and 10 and even 12. When I've called for ADR's they say 2 tables or 3, but once at the restaurant we have always been seated together. Just to let you know our experiences over 9 trips with 7 or more people and many ADR's with more than one table we have never not sat together. Especially at a place like Chef Mickey where there large rows of table that can be easily pushed together.
